I have a defined, but not strongly defined, waist, being in between an hourglass and rectangle shape. I love wearing good leather belts, but I often choose those that match the dress, skirt, etc., rather than a contrasting color. This defines my waist, especially in a fuller or straighter-cut dress that requires some shaping, without drawing that much attention to it. I always wear a belt with any bottom that has belt loops, otherwise it looks unfinished, not elegant.
Both tight and oversized clothes are unflattering. Clothes should follow the shape, but never be uncomfortable. Fitted, but not tight, fits are best. Most US women wear clothes that are too small, making them look heavy. If a garment has horizontal strain lines anywhere, fasteners like buttons or zipper tops gap, or underarms look bunchy, size up! It doesn’t matter what the size the label says, all standardization has now been lost, between vanity sizing, “mature” sizing and Asian-cut and sized cuts, size numbers and letters are meaningless nowadays. I happily wear everything from an XS to an XL (Asian sizing), though my true size is about a US 6 to 8. Your husband or boyfriend already knows your size exactly, don’t cut the labels out! (I sometimes have to if they torment my sensitive skin, but prefer to leave them in if possible, because they will help the next wearer, if any, choose them).

This video offered absolutely no solutions or examples of disguising a large belly. I got no benefit from this video in terms of that, but i appreciate the effort put into making the video.
I saw this comment when I first saw the thumbnail and it was so weird and funny that I had to watch the video. I know exactly what you mean. I think - I could be wrong - that this is an AI channel and someone is reading the script without really paying attention to how it does not make much sense.
