An upper-level trough over the state, copious amounts to atmospheric moisture and series of upper-level disturbances will keep the area wet through Thursday. 2-4 inches is expected with some spots possibly receiving over 6 inches. Continual rainfall is not expected Wednesday and Thursday rather rounds of heavy rainfall are expected.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms return to the forecast Friday through the weekend as higher pressure aloft builds into our region from the east.
