    hi Shay, thanks for your videos. I'm a newbie at this. For day trading in the main session, does the price actions of the immediate pre-market session significant (e.g. support/ resistance levels established during pre-market)?

      Yes premarket levels are key levels for day trading but also make sure to mark the key levels on the larger time frames (daily, weekly etc.)

    What you’re saying about scaling out is true, but to an extent. 5 min or longer time frames I can agree to scale out slower on winners. For those who trade 1 min timeframe for example that exiting strategy would wreck your ass and turn a winner into a loser. You cant do that trading momentum on small caps. Scaling half out when first profit target is hit and maybe all or another half as the second is hit. This works great for large caps though.

    I think it is important to show all trades combined not just the winning trades. This means sharing Net Liquidation value on a graph to see it daily on a consistent basis like every month. The question should be is she up YTD and how much has she drawn down YTD. If she has drawn down 80% to make 30% is that really worth the risk? Maybe it is with a small account but for those with a larger account this could be way to risky. Also know that she bans anyone with a comment that is honest criticism so I hope this does not get me banned like it has for others.

      You won’t get to see that. These gurus don’t actually trade, but instead sell courses for a living. If they were actually as profitable as they claim to be, they’d feel no need to sell courses to strangers.

    1) Why do you use ARCAL exchange? Which exchange route would you recommend for beginners? (Is SMART a good option?)

    Shay, great lesson. Been there done that on holding a loser and cashing out early to take a profit. I'd much rather take a profit and get out early though than get stuck on a drop out. I tend to plan for my buy in and my sell strike price before I even buy or short... and as long as I am profitable, I don't kick myself in the butt for bailing early. I am successful enough now to be able to entertain quitting the day job, as I often make more now day/swing trading.

      @ChrisxGoodie 2 роки тому +3

      I wouldn't recommend Margin or Leveraged starting out , learn by % gain and loss on smaller accounts to learn your fundamentals and figure out your personal strengths in the market. doing so you wont even need to add the extra risk/margin that could quickly stop you out on a small movement (remember they usually dip x3 so on a negative movement. say you were leveraged on a cash trade that wouldn't be near your stop loss range the leveraged trade will be x3 the loss amount and could easily stop you out and water down your account before you learn why these things happened to you so you can improve in the future)

      Once you build up your acount size and can get approved for margin, you cana leverage much harder. So dependening on how her broker operates, she may only have 250k, 500k, etc. in her account, with a multiple applied to the amount of margin she can utlitize.
      For example, my broker allowed 1x margin. My account is 100k, so I'm allowed to use 100k cash liquid of my own money on trades, and 100k of the broker's money on trades for a small fee. This means my buying power is 200k instead of just 100k. She's not actually putting down 1MM of her own money most likely (unless she really does keep that lambo money just sitting in her account).
      Alternatively, if you want to trade similar leverage but don't have as large of an account, you can trade the weekly options chains if the stock has enough liquidity. Major tech stocks usually do (like nvidia).

    Great trading Humbled, curious what made you come into the day short NVDA 4,000 shares was it the technical chart the day before? Word of advice try not to trade on margin. I know that's how you make big money but, it can go the other way on you if your holding over night and you are wrong on the direction of the open for that particular equity. I know both sides.
    AMC great patience in your trade and confidence to stick with your gut and what you see on the charts. Only if you continued to stay short both of these names. Thanks for sharing. GL

    My younger brother watch the video and was so amazed and perplexed how someone could make such an amount of money just day trading.

    You've said that you never hold positions overnite, yet you are claiming that you had 2000 shares short NVDA overnite.
    How is that if that is true?
    As a Day trader, its common to not hold any positions after hours.
    Why did you hold that many shares of NVDA after hours?
