Briliant Fingermark, got 4 in that range up in the gulf back in June, in only 5m! Question, how did that 79 taste, a few of the larger 80cm range FM filets turned out tough as, while others were lovely and tender. Our theory is those were full grown and old, others were younger fish. Be interested in your feedback👍

Hey Bowly, not really relevant to this vid…
But any chance you could speak to your mates at chasebaits about adding a stinger eyelet to the flickprawn. Just at the arse end of the weight on the hook. There’s a particular pre rigged, weedless paddle tail from another brand that does it if you’re wondering what kinda nonsense I’m dribbling.
P.S I like Great Northern, just in case the idea takes off and you get rich.

Quick question, does a 10k daiwa BG MQ reel with 80 pound spider web line, and paired with an 8’6” PE 3-6 ecooda popping rod considered a Heavy set up?Note- I’ve caught 60-70 kg Gt with it with no problem.

I think that giant fish was a big Queensland’s grouper becuase when you hooked it and it took its first run it look like the tail smacking into the line then when it was running it was very slow like a big grouper anyway I’m probably wrong
