So with the palantir comment out of the way, what I appreciate about your comment is just the unbiased observation that the people within the show come off as extremely dumb and that the fault lies within the show’s storyline. They could have done a much better job showing how the rings came into being and how Sauron manipulated. I feel the problem right out of the gate was Galadriel, making her a “warrior” that continually makes terrible decisions. As the shows lead it then warped the narrative to infect everyone. I’ve never been in TV production, but I’m stunned how even those with resources can so badly mess up stories when half the time people on the internet have better understanding of a good show.
