This video looks at all the IIHF tournaments from the World U18 Championship to the World Championship for both men and women as well as the Olympics in 2022 in Beijing. I have seen Latvian bronze medal winning goal on repeat now many, many times and still I get goosebumps and tears of joy in my eyes! The entire country is extremely proud!❤🇱🇻
Today we had an official day off work (decided by Latvian parliament late last night) and over 30 000 people came out to the Freedom monument in Riga (our capital city) to welcome our guys back home and thank them for such an achievement!❤

It's so nice hearing the support from the (probably) American commentators for the Latvian win!! Thanks for appreciating how much this means to us :) (Now there's a running joke that our goalkeeper should be our minister of defence)

ehh the tournaments themselves maybe not the greatest but the moments were still memorable. I remember the US game vs Canada and I still remember being pissed when we lost

The US hasn't even been able to reach the finals, let alone the gold medal, since 1960! Just think about that. Sure, maybe they just don't care about the world championship that much, but I think it's also because all the NHL players are too doped up to pass the stricter doping tests of the world championship.
