Nice video David... Thank you! I personally love my Timeless! I have a .68 open comb with the scalloped head and it's just so smooth and efficient! I do have some high end razors though that I'm not thrilled with, but my Timeless and Charcoal are definitely not on that list! Just an FYI... I recently got a Charcoal level 2 closed comb (like you reviewed)... I was hesitant because I like razors that lock the blade down completely and I remember you mentioning some chatter with the blade.... But fortunately the one I got is locked tight! No Blade wiggle at all!! I'd say my top 5 favorite razors in terms of my best shavers performance wise (not appearance or cost) is Timeless .68 open comb scalloped, Charcoal level 2 closed comb, Colonial Razors The General, Rockwell 6S, Ikon slant 102 (in no particular order). I'll be curious to hear your thoughts the more you use the Timeless razors... I hope you get to try the .68 in open comb... Put a feather in it and man, it's damn smooth and efficient!! Thanks for the shout out, bro...it is, in fact, a different handle from Windrose on Etsy. I just wasn't crazy about any of the ones that Timeless had to offer. I agree somewhat that the novelty of getting the razor has worn off a little and that I almost was making myself like it....honestly still on the fence about it
My trouble spot is the neck area, kind of like yours. After my with the grain, against the grain and across the grain pass, I do a mini 4th pass on the neck in the opposite direction of the across the grain pass. This may help you eliminate some of the rough areas you get.
Hi David another excellent video. The Timeless. 95 Scalloped is one of my favorite razors along with the Titanium. 95 Scalloped. The .68 is too mild for me. As you described the .95 is smooth and very efficient. Would like to try the Broze next. Could you do a short video on how you get such a thick creamy lather. You make the best lather and this would really be appreciated by many. Thanks again and by the way the Old Town shaving cream is excellent. You must try a Grooming Dept. Shaving soap. Top tier and 1 of my favorites
