You are in the wrong spot to see if there is a change. You need to be inside the car. The door latch will always make a sound because it is the first thing the door touches.
If you are inside you might be able to notice a difference.
If you want the door latche sound to minimize then you need a rubber case to go on the door latch itself.

I think they work fine. Try it with other doors. The cardoor close sound comes feine has nothing to do with Karosserie. The closing mechanism ist that loud. Swab them with softclose ones and u don’t hear any shit
