Many people say that Call of Juarez Gunslinger sucks... I actually love it. It's like a better CoD western style with a nice story. Nice, not good. But the game I a underrated gem.
GuyWithChainsaw It had some bad PR in Germany. They said it is lame, and the battke are boring after a while. My question is: How longis "after a while"? I played it 5 times through the whole story on the hardest mode and I still think IT'S AWESOME!

I heard different versions of this while searching for CoJ's version, and I gotta say. I favor this one, just because Silas' voice actor just fits with the mood of the song and makes it sound... haunted, if that makes any sense.

I love how out of left field his singing was. The way the story, for a moment, fell apart in his misery. I see some people who say the Redemption ending didn't really make sense- how it was not in character for Silas to give up on his journey of revenge then and there. But I think that was the way it had to go. Silas had already lived his life out. He became a killer for all the wrong reasons, killing so many men til' he lost himself. Killing Bob wouldn't have done anything. There is no victory. He lost the chance to "win" when he started trying to avenge his brothers. Even he knows that he never cheated death all those years ago- and in a strange sort of way, he embodied death instead. Silas is not a hero. Whether his stories would be true or not, he's now a shell of a killer who gets drunk on whiskey to tell a bunch of made up tales.
One of the best games, I fell in love with this game very much, and this song gives me goosebumps, whoever has not played this game, I advise you to go

Ironically this song "Oh, Death" was first done in 1920. While the setting of the game takes place in 1912(In the Bar that he's telling the story anyway.) Still a good song though!

I played this game and beat it twice in a row and got all arcade mode stars in two days. using famous tropes and storytelling was incredible. And this was a budget title!. I'm not new to FPS genre... Like not at all. But this game is great. I recommend to play it.
Silas, he killed so many people and never stopped, unlike John marston who has family at least, Silas has nothing and therefor would only see John as another bandit to kill
