I love its a dad and daughters project and that she picked it and she's into old cars , bucky is awesome and an awesome dad he could only have an awesome daughter, can't wait to see how this project will turn out , I remember people not seeing the vision on the bucked I did !!! I see the vision on this one too , buck yeah !!!!
Keep up these videos I haven’t watched the rest of the series but I will probably binge watch them because I’m really enjoying it. Glad to see people still love these car’s and are still bringing them back to life. I’m about to buy one in almost mint condition they’ve been my dream car since I was 13
Woooh! Always I love Subaru BRAT content on youtube! I can't wait to see more! I need to do brakes on my 81 too. Other than those super iffy brakes, it's a fun truck!
As a kid, my uncle would take us down the gravel while we were in the back of his brat. It was like looking at a rooster tail behind a boat. Gravel dust trails and Subarus go together.
So pumped to see the transformation and the process. Please reinstall some rear seats in the tray, that's so crack up. I'd kill for one of these little bad boys! 🤙
Bratmobile! I can’t wait to do a project car with my daughter when she gets older. She is only 7 but she has the disease. She prefers going fast around corners rather than a straight line. She puts her hands up like a roller coaster and screams. Love it! In my next life I better come back as a tortoise on the Bucky farm.
Ha! Ha! I absolutely LOVE this on so many levels: as a mother of 3 daughters Paris's age, I love the daughter / father team effort! As a female interested in cars and rally car racing and As a fan of skateboarding legend, Bucky Lasek ❤ 🚙💨🛻💨🛹🤘 💖 You guys rock!
Bro I love the tortoises so much I could watch them eat for hours.Bro I have the most upmost respect bro on what direction your helping her with this subie.Shell appreciate it that much more!
@BuckYeah-“Hers not mine”Remember what happened with the blue RS? I do, haha. You and your family rock btw, thanks for the always-positive and motivational content.
Stumbled upon this today in my recommended, didn’t know at first that it was Bucky. Been a fan since my youth days as a skater but this great, love the wholesome entertainment I hope to see plenty more.
Oh man, I have a lot of nostalgia for the Brat. My dad owned a 78 in college and kept it until I drove it in high school, and it was the most reliable vehicle we ever owned. Wish we wouldn't have sold it. One day I'll find one to restore.
The first repair i did on a car was the 3door version, my sister gave me one with a blown motor and my brother gave me one with everything else blown. I put them together into a working car that i had for 3 years. 1800 cc all wheel drive before it was standard.
The brat logo on the pillar always looked so rad. Btw..Tamiya still has a RC Subaru brat. Think about it...could make a mini version of however the brat ends up
1:17 a tortoise burps. Lol. Cool pets man. Nothing like some father daughter bonding time. You make a good team. Maybe a motor/drivetrain swap in the future? Some WRX STI parts perhaps? For the body, thinking fiber or frp front fenders w/ flares if available, and maybe some cutting and re-skinning the rear quarters with fiber or frp panels also with flares. Looks like a fun project.
Killer Project. I've always been a fan of the Brat. A buddy of of mine had one back in high school in the 80s. The back seats were the coolest! Buck Yeah!!! 👊🔥🤘
There is always that one pesky bolt or screw hiding somewhere and it's usually in the hardest places to reach! You either conquer the car or the car conquers you! Great vid, Bucky! Looking forward to more!
Man I love these generation of Subarus!! Awesome find Bucky!!! I have wanted a an 84 wagon for so long but cannot find one that isn't majorly rusted out.
So dope! Takes me back to when I tore apart the interiors of my 01 RS coupe and my BRZ. Glad to see Subaru doesn't change much no matter which decade you're working on! haha
I'd be super tempted to do a WRX(EJ) conversion. If only for the sake of not trying to find hard to find parts. **I'm thinking polished lip 16in Wantanabe style wheels.... Polished rollcage in the bed that hold 5 point harness for the rear two seats.... polish that cow plow bar.... keep the stop colors and decal style otherwise. (Just my vision)
@@BuckyLasekOfficial sand blaster + walnut saving (blasting material) clean the metal without frosting, get's 75% of the way there. **(can also send to some places with the tumblers, fairly cheap comparitively)
@@BuckyLasekOfficial Altogether, lots of rad ideas. Could do something hella skater with the bed... or interior.. or both... could black out the trim depending on how you thing that plays. It's a sweet ride. I haven't seen one intact in years!
Such great content Bucky. What makes it fun is that its relatable and stuff that most people can do. Your daughter definitely looked like she was enjoying herself. I cant wait till my boy is older so we can tackle our own project together. Keep on shredding brother 🤟
I cannot wait to see this project progress. This was my "Dream" vehicle when I was a kid. There is also a ton of nostalgia due to me learning to drive in a 1983 GL-10 Sedan. I am so tempted to start looking for a project Brat to compliment my 2020 Forester! BTW the GL-10 got stuck in 3rd so might be a similar Transmission issue. Best of luck!
Bucky she’s a chip off, of the old block!! She is you!!!! And she’s a natural!! This is going to be a great build series!!! Looking forward to the next episode
How in hell did get you get a good looking daughter like that😉 You are a great dad bro!! I like this build a lot👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Vintage recaro seats!!! You know what those look like?? Old Opel Kadett GSI’s have what you are looking for👍🏼👍🏼You have learned this Jedi good Obi😃😃
I always thought these were the coolest lol. Never see one properly done up. Those jump seats are rad, not sure I would wanna ride back there though lmfao
I'm looking forward to this father/daughter build project more than anything else I've watched. You perfectly captured that happy sensation when you get your first project car. Go-go Paris! (And camera-dad, too.)

Heck yeah ❤️ a Brat!!
Nice job, Paris! Prove to your dad that you're worthy of your new project car 😉
Oh dear that graphix stim brought back memories. Haha.
Awesome! Brings back memories of riding in the back of my friend's dad's Brat.
Brat takes me back to High school. Great video.
Didn't even need to watch video to know this is gonna be my favorite build yet. Still watched the video tho. Awesome to see father daughter build

Fun documenting memories in the making. 👍🏼
Tortoises eating the watermelon gave me life :) Plus the Dad and Daughter Car project vibes! BRAT ftw!
