Trippy. I remember this like from the darkest recesses of my mind. One of my older memories. But I even thought it was weird when I was a little kid that it sounded like it was saying "dick"...lol
Shows like The Real Ghostbusters (later Slimer! and the Real Ghostbusters) will have "In Association With" below the DiC logo (much like the previous logo) which proceeds the Coca-Cola Telecommunications/Columbia Pictures TV logos (now plastered by SPT) that followed it. Others like ALF: The Animated Series has the "Kid in Bed" animation removed and the end theme playing over it.
In the room there is Hulk Hogan and next to him is Heathcliff’s girlfriend. The reason why you see Hulk Hogan and Heathcliff’s girlfriend is that DiC used to produced Hulk Hogan’s Rock N’ Wrestling and Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats. Hulk Hogan’s Rock N’ Wrestling is now under WWE since they owned the rights to put the show on the WWE Network, since Hulk Hogan is now back as a legend in the WWE then they could just put the show back on the WWE Network. And as for Heathcliff well I don’t know who owns the show now but I think that DHX Media (Goes by the name of WildBrain) is the owner of the show.
Then, there’s the Slimer from The Real Ghostbusters too and maybe the doll looks like Dennis the Menace sitting on the yellow truck too next to the window
Shows like The Real Ghostbusters (seasons 2-3) (later Slimer! and The Real Ghostbusters) will have "In Association With" below the DiC logo (much like the previous logo, The Vortex), in Optima font (sometimes, the phrase is completely capitalized), which preceeds followed by the Coca-Cola Telecommunications/Columbia Pictures Television logos (later plastered by other Columbia Pictures Television logos, Columbia TriStar Television Distribution, and now SPT) that followed it. Others like ALF: The Animated Series and ALF Tales has the "Kid in Bed" animation removed and the end theme playing over it.
But, the long run, it *did* work for them. Along with their "Kid in Bed logo" also. In the business world, *image is everything!!!!!* No matter how lousy your eventual output is.
@@mr.tomraypaz6085 A while back I was looking at the history of the logo, and the little kid in the bed said that the dog was theirs. They said the dog’s name was Ribbons, and she was pretty nervous with all the people filming around them, but she managed to keep her cool.
If you look closely right at the beginning of the logo, you can see the dog actually blink!
Oh go-
Never noticed that before.
@TrullaleriRing26 The one sleeping on top of that poor little guy in bed -- how realistic can it be?
I saw it too
CLG Wiki points that out on their DIC page.
Deek!

My brother and I call this version the "Sad Kid in Bed", because of the sad-sounding "Deek" voiceover.

Oh my gawd the ending 😭😭
And yet it's still hard to make out what's in the room. The dog is most definitely awake, though.
I watched some of it frame by frame and the dog definitely winks at the start.
DGM Joking aside, this logo was top notch back on its time. I heard it wasn't cheap to produce.

😵 Wow, it took me three years to know that DGM was NOT joking at all: the dog REALLY blinks!
Wow... the quality is incredible! It's even in 60FPS! It looks like a digital restoration!
Not quite 60FPS tho
That's 30fps

beautiful.
I agree with you on that 1 way or another.
Is this from “C.O.P.S.”? Where the Claster TV logo?
*Yes!* Also, the cars by the side of the kid's bed under the lamp in the Dic logo was meant to be based on it.
why does the kid sound depressed in this one?

A stuffed animal of Heathcliff himself sits at the foot of the bed and I also heard that the police car on the bedside table was based on COPS.

Epic! Did you get it from the Shout! Factory DVD?????
The dog’s name is Ribbons, just so everyone knows ^^
How did you find out? Is there any proof of this?

Interesting story. What website did you find this out on?
@@mr.tomraypaz6085 It was actually a video on youtube, I'll link it if I can find it.
