"I personally knew that UA-cam was going to be the best place to connect with my ideal customer and build my audience and email list. So that's where I went." How did you know this? What did you do to figure this out?
By doing research on UA-cam, I saw that a lot of people were searching for content on low-content publishing, which is what I teach. People were searching for tutorials on everything from keyword research to how to use certain design tools to create their book interiors. These types of lessons don't really lend themselves well to the podcast or blog formats, and since I knew people were actively searching on YT, that's where I went. I hope that helps!
I am planning to do Word Search books but for a very specific niche. So while this will entice Word Search enthusiasts, I don't know where to market them because of the niche that it is. I'm not published yet but I'm getting there. I do have a website set up with PDFs but no one wants to buy a PDF. (They're small because of what my niche is).
I feel this has potential but I just need to know how and where to market it.
So it looks like I could use a lead magnet to at least get an email list going. However what I'm worried about is someone stealing my idea. so while I could give out a free sample book my niche is something that anyone could do and that's my fear. So I don't know what other lead magnet I could use
