Gotta love the Marlboro sign in right.
Bless the 90’s!
I used to the think David Ortiz was Mo Vaughn for like 5 years whenever I would watch a Red Sox game. I started thinking "Damn... Mo Vaughn has been playing forever! Is he ever going to retire??"
yeah all black people look alike tbh
@@omegamanGXE wtf lmao.... all whites look a like too if u get my point
@@vlone7902 :D
@@omegamanGXE So Mookie Betts looks like David Ortiz?
@@greysonG10 Mookie Betts looks like Mookie Blaylock yeah
Before Big Papi. There was Mo Vaughn.
Facts.
Facts
Yep, Mo was better too.
@@greysonG10 Eh, Mo was great but idk bout that
@@samsepiol05590 Yeah idk what I was on man, probably some kind of drug. Mo was up their though.
In Ken Griffey baseball on super nes he was Brooker brooks a beast
Ea Sports Triple Play 99 PC...used smash homeruns with Mo...amazing player
Big Mo went off for a few years on the Sox! .300 30+ bombs 100+ rbi ✅
He hit 250 HR's in 8 years with The Sox
He hit one past the red Ted Williams seat at Fenway didn’t he?
Idk what is more weird here, the fact that as a kid I I swear Mo Vaughn was a lot heavier or that most of his home runs go rather far for a swing that LOOKS so weak haha.
But despite being upset that he was the only guy during spring training those years I went to fort Myers that didn’t come out to sign autographs , I still miss the MO years in Boston.
One time, Manny Ramirez as an Indian handed me a broken bat signed by all the Indians in 1998, there in Fort Myers. They don't play there anymore.
Mandela effect bro, I remember him being a lot bigger too lol
best 10 minutes of my day
by far the best 10 minutes of my day as well
Pretty sure you get the 10 inches everyday
@@darkmanj666 projecting a bit?
I have watched a ton of Mets games at Shea and never saw a ball hit the scoreboard that high.
I was there for that one - too bad the Mets sucked
@@jpwjr1199 back when Steve Phillips brought in robby Alomar, Jeromey burnitz and traded Kevin appiers lousy contract for this guy and it backfired
I remember thinking that those deals would work. Not a single one did!
He crushed that
I have... Carlos Delgado
If only Mo had been healthy for a longer period of time...
Once he went to the angels he had real bad luck with that
Still to this day my favorite player ever!
Growing up there was nothing bigger then Mo Vaughn to me in *Boston*
Classic slugger
The original "Big Papi"
Huge Yankee fan but I LOVED mos swing. I wanted to emulate him at the plate
Yeah, its like once he hit the ball that's it, no dramatic over-swing or anything. He always trucked it out around the bases the man did his job kinda coolness. Mo Vaughn had major class
Man did he connect with that blast at 6:26. Upper deck Hard Rock cafe window banger!
*What a moment at **7:22** as well.*
Great video.
What a violent swing.
Mo Vaughn and Price Fielder had that craziest swings.
That big ass Marlboro sign in the background be like SMOKE
Mo Vaughn was THAT DUDE!
man oh man the hr @ 1:55 was a damn check swing, i swear he put hardly any effort into it and it rockets 400+ft.. That shows you the difference between speed and velocity power, then there's just RAW POWER called MO- mothereffing-VAUGHN
Mo Vaughn was like the first version of David Ortiz Lol.
Some of those were at McCoy Stadium when he played for Pawtucket. Saw him there before he was placed on perm Roster
i remember that last one off the shea scoreboard like yesterday
In 96 got a foul ball from him walkin by howard johnsons
Nice! Right place right time!
I remember the one in Toronto. That was a "laser."
Dude
That one at shea stadium was absolutly insane.
ABSOLUTE JACK BOMBS
Did you know Bobby Valentine invented the sandwich
Mo was an absolute beast
Watching Mo Vaughn inside out balls over the Monster at will was a joy to behold as an avowed Yankee hater who grew up watching Mo on the Sox. He owns David Wells' soul to this day.
Most intimidating batt stance of all time IMO.
For some reason, maybe because I was only 8 or 9 years old when I first remember being in love with the Sox back in the ‘94-‘95 and that happened to be the year I got to go to my very first Sox game at “Fenway PAHK” which was only 6.5 miles from my house but felt a lot further away back then. I think the other factor is after being a huge Big Papi fan it makes Mo look much different than I remember him as a kid lmao, I always remember him as being much fatter LMFAO but him and Canseco together used to hit some absolute BOMBS! The good ol’ days when juicing wasn’t so frowned upon and BASEBALL WAS ABOUT BASEBALL NOT LIBERAL POLITICS!!! Thank you for these games/highlights they’re very nostalgic for me!
How is baseball about "liberal politics"?
The Hit Dog!!!
Like Clemens there is absolutely no reason why he shouldn’t have retired in Boston
Angels paid him alot and when he fell in his first game it was all downhill from there
He hit one off Mariano Rivera in the first inning. Back when he was a starter
I always pretended to be Mo Vaughn
That crouch was somethin serious
This man had some powerful home runs that were hit and to me Mo Vaughn deserves more credit as a baseball player because he made a impact in the league. And on a side note I have a you tube channel type in Russell Mills May 22, 2017 to find me.
Mo Vaughn in 1995 was a man who will hit and hit with impact
Still shoulda been Albert Belle’s MVP that year though
@@HT-sm9dmExactly. Albert Belle was the first & still the only 50-50 player (52 2Bs/50 HRs) in MLB history back in '95. Belle & the media hated each other which is why he lost the '95 MVP vote to Vaughn.
I will always believe his full name is Mohandas.
Was that Mélido Pérez? 🧐
Damn. Were the Yankees that bad in the 90s prior to Jeter? The entire upper deck was empty for a rivalry night game. Goddamn Lmao and then 3:15. What team was that? Maybe attendance was down across the board?
The whole leagues attendance was down around the time but to answer ur question yes the Yankees from 80s up until 96 when Jeter came around were terrible
Ortiz?
Mo died so Papi could live
These are not bombs barry bonds shots are bombs
his trucking company doesn't pay there bills
Red Dog beer. Worst ever?
Yeah it's definitely on the top shittiest list
Steroids are a helluva drug
💉💉💉
Yea once he went to the Mets he sucked just like just about every good player that goes to the Mets
He got to the mets and hit the new York techno party scene of the early 2000s and it was a wrap lol. I remember seeing mo at club exit and sound factory popping extacy pills like tic tacs every other weekend. Lol sweating like a mad man
Let me question something do you know where you will go after you die? If not let me say you can have a choice to either go to hell or heaven see 2000 years ago there was this man named Jesus who died on the cross for our sins and rose alive 3 days later all because he truly loved us he died for us so I question you now do you truly believe in Jesus or do you live for the world turn to Jesus Christ trust in him Christ has way much more to give than the world he loves us turn to Christ
Get outta here with that cult shit
