I used to the think David Ortiz was Mo Vaughn for like 5 years whenever I would watch a Red Sox game. I started thinking "Damn... Mo Vaughn has been playing forever! Is he ever going to retire??"

Idk what is more weird here, the fact that as a kid I I swear Mo Vaughn was a lot heavier or that most of his home runs go rather far for a swing that LOOKS so weak haha.
But despite being upset that he was the only guy during spring training those years I went to fort Myers that didn’t come out to sign autographs , I still miss the MO years in Boston.

One time, Manny Ramirez as an Indian handed me a broken bat signed by all the Indians in 1998, there in Fort Myers. They don't play there anymore.

For some reason, maybe because I was only 8 or 9 years old when I first remember being in love with the Sox back in the ‘94-‘95 and that happened to be the year I got to go to my very first Sox game at “Fenway PAHK” which was only 6.5 miles from my house but felt a lot further away back then. I think the other factor is after being a huge Big Papi fan it makes Mo look much different than I remember him as a kid lmao, I always remember him as being much fatter LMFAO but him and Canseco together used to hit some absolute BOMBS! The good ol’ days when juicing wasn’t so frowned upon and BASEBALL WAS ABOUT BASEBALL NOT LIBERAL POLITICS!!! Thank you for these games/highlights they’re very nostalgic for me!

Let me question something do you know where you will go after you die? If not let me say you can have a choice to either go to hell or heaven see 2000 years ago there was this man named Jesus who died on the cross for our sins and rose alive 3 days later all because he truly loved us he died for us so I question you now do you truly believe in Jesus or do you live for the world turn to Jesus Christ trust in him Christ has way much more to give than the world he loves us turn to Christ
