Gerhard Good morning Sir, I totally agree, that's why we must not give up on leading by example, showing teaching, explaining, is always a never-ending task. We will get the communities, Anglers and beaches visitors to eventually understand the necessity of good practices when it comes to the waste management at the beaches and everywhere else. We must encourage and motivate them when we get the opportunity. Unfortunately individuals in society these days don't like to be told, that's when we lead by example. Don't ask just do it with a smile. Trust me it make a big impact. We practice it at the Margate pier along with all our regular community members that fish there, everyone has the same drive and passion for fishing and keeping the area clean and tidy. Whenever Ive seen this happen, I have approached the guilty parties and appealed to their better judgemnent. It works most of the time. When it hasn't, Ive cleaned it up. No biggie.
