Excellent video from Tabassum Talkies! I would also like to add that Mahima had some difficulties with industry politics. Subhash Ghai gave her a great launch. However, they both fell out when Mahima wanted to sign other films after Pardes. He even put an ad in a trade magazine saying that saying that if any producer wanted to work with her, they would have to contact Subhash otherwise it would be breach of contract. Industry stepped back and Mahima lost films like Satya. Her fallout with Subhash also meant that she was no longer in his next film, Taal. Still, she did have some success post-Pardes. Daag was a hit. And her performances in Dil Kya Kare, Lajja and Hope & A Little Sugar drew plaudits. I hope her career gets a second wind. It would be great to see her in a Netflix or Amazon series.
