In this video I'm snowboarding in the highest terrain park on earth in Zermatt, Switzerland! The elevation of the snowpark in Zermatt is 3800 meter or 12700 feet. This is my first time snowboarding in the terrain park since March and my wife Gill first time summer snowboarding. The terrain park setup here in Zermatt is a mix of small, medium and large features. The mix of features has been great for getting back some of my snowboard tricks. The highlight of the terrain park has to incredible views here in Switzerland with the Matterhorn being the most incredible mountain peak. If you're looking for a place for summer snowboarding I'd highly recommend the snowpark here in Zermatt, Switzerland. Make sure before you come that you're very comfortable with riding a t-bar with your snowboard. I filmed this snowboard video with the new GoPro Max 360 and the GoPro 8 Black. It was the first thing I noticed, all the effects, the selfie stick being edited out. really upping the game! And damn those heights are intense. That one section of cable car would make me super anxious.

It looks at least twice as epic in winter! You should definitely go back in winter. You will be able to ride down to 2 Italian villages and a ride with a view from Gornegrat is amazing too.

We in the states couldn't even go to europe right now!!! Love the GoPro Max, and some of the creative things you're doing with it- like throwing it away from you when you go off the jumps, pretty cool. As I was watching I found myself forgetting it wasn't a drone or a really close follow cam. The selfi stick being removed is a trip.

Everything you see on this video I have experienced. Zermatt and the surrounding mountains are so special. I’m so lucky to have lived there and I must admit slightly jealousy that Kevin and Gill are there right now!

Great work on the filming and editing the mountain looks so amazing, it’s m bummed that my spring season was cut short but skateboarding everyday trying to keep in shape and as well work on my balance so this coming season I can go hard

Hey Kevin it’s me Giovanni. Awesome video and sick edit! Stoked once again to meet you there. Little advice for people going snowboarding so up high is take a little snack with you (like a piece of chocolate) to eat during the morning, it helps a lot to not get headache.
And for sure never forget a good pair of goggles or sun glasses because the sun is very dangerous for your eyes at the glacier

Been to zermatt twice, first time it was also in summer, definitely a must to try summer snowboarding.
Tip - Front leg will really hurt due to the lift to the top. Better prepare yourself ;)

Awesome vlog guys.. Skied Zermatt a few times in the winter as we live not to far away in the French Alps in Courchevel.. We were up on the Tignes and Val d Isere glaciers a few weeks ago 🏂☀️

Hi both, that looks amazing, it’s on my bucket list of things to do. I normally snowboard in Austria or France and love it. Can’t wait till January as that’s my next trip to Saalbach in Austria, you should try it, you won’t be disappointed. Bought a new board and boots and can’t wait to try them now.

Awesome vid! Thank you Kev & Gill for taking us back in snow though not physically. The 360 vid was also a great setup. Just need extra time in editing but you can make more effect like the transitioning you made on the content. I know you have the gopro head strap, you can use it with the metal piece “unicorn” which I saw to some gopro vid of snowboarder and use hero8 to your monopole 🔥🙏🏻

@@eiekkwdj9373 yeah well, although the glacier is definitely receding, I meant more that it is on its last legs for the summer season. As in all the snow left from winter has nearly all melted, but that is normal for this time in the year!
