Central Park, the nation’s first great municipal park, is the shining monument of New York City. It is where residents go to walk or jog, touch nature, and get a fresh breath of air. Without Central Park, life in the nation’s biggest city would be pure hustle and bustle, unhealthy, and plagued by air and noise pollution.
It’s difficult to imagine a progressive city evicting a well-established minority community after arbitrarily paying its residents for their possessions. But that's how Central Park was made, with most newspapers cheering the removal of what they called ''the insects.''

You may also want to do a video on Historic Weeksville Village in Brooklyn NY. Preserved village of homes of freed African Americans. There is also a descendent of Seneca Village, in which I viewed a video about her.
