This is the newest juicer from Kuvings. It’s a vertical slow juicer meaning 50 to 60 rotations per minute. No heat is generated so you’re getting cold pressed juice. It also comes with strainers to make sorbet and smoothies. 15 year warranty which is the longest of any juicer out there.
This Kuvings is revolutionary because it has one chute for long veggies like carrots and celery and another chute for wider produce like tomatoes and apples that you can put in whole. This chute is 3.5 inches wide with a flip gate and in the slim side is 1.75 inches wide. Whatever you put in here should be less than 1.5 inches wide. For leafy greens like kale or collards, roll them up to fit. A medium apple will fit. Of course if you have huge apples, they’ll need to be cut in half or quarters. So having these two openings and a 3.5 inch width means you’ll be done juicing faster than with other juicers. It’s very little effort because you don’t have to cut celery or carrots and it saves you time on prep work. With most juicers, you have to cut celery and carrots as well as other fruits and vegetables into chunks.
This top part of the juicing screw will chop the celery, carrots, apples into smaller pieces for juicing so you don’t have to. It’s auto feeding so you really shouldn’t have to use the pusher but it’s there if you absolutely need it.
Wash all the parts in warm soapy water before using. Do not put in the dishwasher.

WOW! This makes me remember the "Jack Lalanne Juicer"... about 20 years ago! Gee, I haven't used that LOUD NOISEY THING in many years; still down there though with the other not used items here.
One of the big selling points was how you could use the pulp for making things in the oven, turning that 'throw away' into cupcakes or such. I never got around to doing that.
The thing I most remember was that darn clean-up afterwards - YUK. I'm a lazy slob so that was not a big positive for yours truly here - hee hee.
The thing was a CENTRIFICAL juicer, relying on spinning the crap out of everything, and I will say that the pulp was EXTREMLY dry. It terrified the cat whenever I used it. Did I mention it was LOUD? I mean WAY loud. But for all the negative features, it did a GREAT job. Well, I guess it still does, but it's downstairs and I live up here on the third floor (bedroom) during the cold weather.

@bestkitchenreviews Thanks ! So I will say that it's very nice for if you're just wanting to do citrus that day. You don't have to wash all the other parts so that is nice ! Also the little bits of pulp that get in the juice I don't mind.
Is that noise normal? At 9:01-9:05you can hear that noise which I wonder if it is normal since I just noticed that my kuvings started to do the same noise. Specially when is "empty" or has finished processing an apple, you can hear the noise I am talking about 9:12

Nice review, BUT the creeking rusty noise in between after the apple has been juiced sounds TERRIBLE & IRRITATING.
i would prefer to eat the fruit directly one a day and through the waste in the soil and make it fertile....and no waste of water
