i moved to Liverpool from London in 1967. i am 69 yrs old now . i can't get enough of Liverpool. i like London a lot but i LOVE Liverpool. when i go abroad or anywhere in UK i get a sense of feeling that i am nearly home in Liverpool. those that understand will identify. those that don't understand ..don't matter!
Great this, what I'd add is for people from outside of Liverpool, or those who have never been, the City is football and it is music and the positive/negative connotations they take from that. But, for the people who have been or those who live in & around it, it's about the characters. The people are the city, everything else is just a bonus.
Thank you so very much for doing this video. It is so interesting. I was brought up in Liverpool and I am 76 years old. I left Liverpool when I was 18 to go abroad. I now live in Liverpool again. I have learned so many interesting facts that I didn’t know watching your first video. I am really looking forward to watching all the others. 😊😊😊
I first went to Liverpool in 1963 on a training course at the shipping Federation, Mann Island. I always enjoy coming back to visit Liverpool. When you leave Liverpool, Liverpool never leaves you. You always want to go back.
I love your channel. We have a guy in hull called hull history nerd. I’ve learned a lot watching your channel. Ive been visiting the city regularly since 2019 , but prior to that been to the Grand National meeting Red Rum in 1978
You missed out the letter Z in your AtoZ of Liverpool Street names, well for Z you can have Zig Zag Road West Derby, just off Yew Tree Lane. :-) thanks for an Absolutely brilliant and informative Video. Thanks, Vinny. 😊
Just been youtube surfing come across this channel I've lived in this city 51 years never knew any of this sweeting street and pilgrim really interesting
We visit Liverpool 4 or 5 times a year as we both love it. This has given us more knowledge and ideas of what to do in between our visits to the theatres. The Royal Court being the jewel in the crown of Liverpool theatres. I could go on, Liverpool is not without it's problems but to us, it seems to be a City that is way ahead of any other.
Thanks Frank for doing these videos: they will be part of history forever, I now know a lot more about LIverpool than I thought! If you fancy a pint sometime let me know; we used to be in the same class at SFX, it would be good to talk. Dave Hellier

whitechapel must have been named after the london one
Dno what year this was but it certainly wasn't a year ago. There are no immigrants or indigenous homeless in it.
I thought Great Howard Street was named after THE ONE AND ONLY HOWARD KENDALL....The Great Manager of EVERTON FC back in the 1980’s...💙...
