IMPRESIVE TROUGH AND TROUGH! I didn’t expect it to be so articulated. I’m so happy they went that route with the tiesto ... agreed 100% with you there! Nice to see them doing something new with important figures! They’ve raise the bar with this one. Didn’t know it came with Fist.... and SCULPT! My god the SCULPT IN THIS THING SOOOOOO MUCH DETAIL! thanks again for doing this. Now let’s hope Mezco do their thing and blown us away with their version!

This figure and this wave is amazing overall. If there's a downside, it would be Human Torch mainly because he doesn't really give out the Human Torch vibe because he's in his human form. If I didn't have the Walgreens exclusive F4, I would've bought this wave right off the bat! Then I'd swap the Walgreens Human Torch.
This doom will not be in any target or Walmart here in south jersey Cause every scalper on gods green earth will grab him up Then throw it on amazon for double the price Thank god I ore ordered mine

Found she hulk and Johnny, found all but vulture in the demo goblin wave. Got the 3 cuckoos but no Emma. My brother had to order me doom from Cali, I’m in Atlanta
I think hasbro really deserves to be commended for this piece. And you give them just that. Of course every figure will have short-comings. But this one is badass. Seeing you enjoy it so much brings a huge smile to my face ❤️☺️
That Sen-Ti-Nel Iron Man is not the Extremis Armor, it's the suit that predates it, the Pentagon Armor. And the torso is engineered similarly to the MCU Doctor Strange figure.
Got the old doctor doom from the Ronan wave recently but can’t wait to replace it with this one because with doom being possibly my favorite comic villain of all time I had to get this far superior version
Im actually surprised at how much leg movement he gets! Im not feeling the look (id love a more classic look to his costume) but the fact that he can sit on a throne (-with a different cape and a cut into the back for that back hip skirt.) Makes me reconsider buying him. That classic head does make me hope for a more kirby version of him down the line though, or even a modern version of the secret wars toy. (On that throwback cardstock)
Hasbro went above and beyond on the sculpt and the articulation on this Dr. Doom! Bravo Hasbro! Can we get some new female body bucks with better articulation points? -Hasbro, look at that Marvel Select Psylocke for inspiration especially with the double jointed elbows and with her arms able to move inwards almost like a butterfly joint! Did you try putting a little bit of vaseline in the Dr. Doom's neck ball joint to act as a greaser for better range of motion & mobility?
They need to make a Doom bots army building set next with Dr Doom's throne power FX, alternate unmasked disfigured head sculp and a battle damaged head sculp, and rocket boosters FX for all three figures but, the next two characters that they need to make are The Leader with both classic long head look and the more modern brain head look and the next is a 90's version of The Mandarin with one alternate head with a close mouth straight face and the other with a angry face grinning his teeth and a removable helmet that fits on either head also, two open hands and two bald fist and hopefully a better cape than that figure from the 90's Toybiz Ironman line.
I'm sure they packed the pistol in the holster cause it's based off a P-08 Luger. So it's a double controversy...real gun *and* WWI/WWII German. Watch out! This mold used to get shown off in the package, but not anymore.
I would say the only thing to make this doom figure even better is if there was also a doom bot head that came with it. But i am super excited I just preordered him I thought about getting the whole wave all together but for now he will go with the Walgreens F4
I have no doubt that Mezco could absolutely nail this figure now that I have this Marvel Legends Dr. Doom in hand. Could you imagine if Mezco used that same kind of metal that they used with Iron Man mixed in with some soft goods garments and a wired cape and hood? Mezco would totally kill it! Is this Marvel Legends classic Dr. Doom bad? -No by no means, I just wish Hasbro would step outside their comfort zone sometimes and incorporate soft goods on their figures especially the cape portion of their figures!
I always think plastic always looks better than soft goods even though they can be annoying for posing if done well enough I would rather have the look over the play ability.
This figure looks great I got mine back in January but I finally opened it and like I said it is great but the figure doesn't stand on its own the only reason mine stands on its own is when the Cape is on it keeps it balanced but without its the cape it doesn't stand on its own it seems like one leg is a tiny bit shorter than the other on my figure so that's the only complain I have of the figure that it doesn't stand on its own
Man they really would. My only worry is that they take a lot of artistic license as far as having comic accurate designs. I'm a bit too much of a purist for most Mezco figures
Every review on this figure I've seen so far, has pretty much established that at the end of the year, it's going to finish at worse, third best Marvel Legends figure of the year. Yes we got Nightcrawler and Beast this year, so there is going to be a royal rumble for the top spot, but those three are going to finish top three in pretty much every end of the year list. (80th anniversary Cap is the only dark horse contender I can see breaking into that top three)(sorry overpriced Worthy Cap... good figure, but not great at the level these guys are)
@@Retrophoria It's up to the individual reviewer to declare the cut off line I imagine... not really sure that the 80's Hulk is finishing high on anyone's list... I think it will make the top ten of most, but I think Beast and Nightcrawler both beat it out routinely in reviews. I might be wrong, that just seems to be my recollection.

I'd like the skirt thing to be shorter, but that's an easy fix
I think it looks good as is but if you want it shorter, It would be easy enough to trim it.

Definitely the best Dr Doom. Although hasbro do not do soft goods for Legends, they do them on the Black series line.

Mezco is overrated shit...the cloth looks baggy and terrible on most figs...only a handful have been great
