unknowingly this figure got me into collecting Marvel Legends. I went to gamestop at the end of 2019 and my brother told me to pick something out for christmas. I had the options of Kingpin, Green Goblin, Gwen, J Jonah, and Daredevil. I only picked it because it was a cool looking figure and I didnt start really investing in the line until 2021-2022
This was such a nice little surprise. I was in high school in the 90s and comics were the hottest thing going. I have a lot of nostalgia for all of the crazy things going on in comics back then. Azrael Batman, hook-hand Aquaman, armored Captain America, Ben Reilly Spider-Man, Fall From Grace Daredevil--I want it all!
Back in the day this suit redesign caught hell from fans , they hated it. But many years later people can now appreciate just how well this suit concept was. Now in the age of iron man were he has a suit for every situation, it just makes sense other hero's would have there own multiple suits . Seem more like this could be used if daredevil incountered more superpowers foes or overwhelming firepower.
I got one of these at my local comic shop awhile back! So glad I picked it up, it’s running for like $90 on ebay! but Spider-Man TAS was my childhood so this little dude hangs outside the box on my studying desk
Don't what others say, I - LOVED - this look he had. Is it me or does it seem like these type of designs from the 90's (especially Jim Lee's X-men) makes for great looking action figures?
I remember i got a bundle of comics from toys r us back in the day that had a bunch of comics from the run where he wore this costume, that art was amazing. Very photo realistic and moody, Like Bernie wrightson.
This look for Daredevil may not have been popular, but this figure is BEAUTIFUL!!! To me personally, Daredevil always looks better in black with accents of red, and this metallic red paint job looks amazing.
I’m really glad that Hasbro is starting to put more budget into their figures. This is a great one and I have it coming in the mail. Got it for only 15 on Amazon too!
If hasbro is doing vintage comic book characters, they should do what toybiz did years ago and include the comic book that specific characters appears in. I have every toybiz ML and kept every comic book that was made included. Hasbro, if your listening, please do toybiz vintage lines with comic books.

The power rangers articulation scheme would really work for this figure, but spiderman really should have had something closer to the new gi joe figures with the standard ab crunch and a rocker at the belt, so there would be no breakage in the red on his torso. Like snake eyes.
I'm so grabbing this Daredevil Spider-Man and Green Goblin! I'm going to use the head on this one with the other black suit Daredevil I remember that All New All Different costume was made to look more like a helmet with a chin strap in the comics.
I snapped off the hand on my daredevil because I wanted to put on the other hand but I didn’t heat it up before taking off his hand but I was able to take it off and fix the hand I broke, I loved your review btw
I'll admit this is a very nice looking figure, but I don't have any attachment to this design, I'm hoping that one day we'll get a Frank Miller inspired first appearance Daredevil in the all black with the black hoodie which inspired the Netflix series design.
It's weird how they went all out on those little red pieces but the armor is left very plastic-y. As I recall, this particular costume was reviled at the time by DD fans. I always though it looked cool. I still have the little 5 inch Toybiz original release.

I would've gotten this figure if I didn't already spend my money on the ML netflix Daredevil I found. I would be absolutely sold to get this tho if I could find an angry alt head that fits this figure.
There's a comic of this costume with him and Punisher where pun was gon commit suicide coz he was cornered by DD, then DD figures that he ain't bluffing and that he's gon blow his head off
I rarely ever leave a comment as there is never a response, but just had to say of all the DD's that Hasbro have made the Billy Club remains the same. TOY Biz made it so it looked like a walking Cane and when it split in two there was a string.
Those cheap shoulder pads and wrist guards are a distraction to me. I was very excited about this figure and wanted an Armored Daredevil for a long time. I won’t be able to look past the cheapness of those parts. This will be the first toy I ever touch up with paint. And then it will be perfect
I agree bro. I think maybe they could have continued those shoulder armor pads in the same red..or a flat black...same as the silver on the legs..flat black..or the same red.
I think if they do a true maskless head he has to have no glasses on and pale blind eyes. With daredevil, if you dont have a suit body to put him on its like he has the glasses on under the mask. its odd

There is a comic era where DD had this suit when he got his original suit tore apart and was battle damaged so he wanted a more structured suit.

They painted the angry eyebrows, you can see that there's a sculpted eyebrows above the glasses

The metallic red, sculpted details and Murdock head makes this a worthy pickup. Might have to reconsider this one.
