- Assigning custom keyboard shortcuts and functions is super simple using the VIA configurator and only takes minutes, no programming knowledge required.
For those who are interested, the macropad is QMK compatible.

is it possible to have a function that opens apps, for example spotify. thanks.
hi! Thanks for the question. The short answer is yes, the macropad is extremely customizable if you flash your own firmware (the unit is QMK compatible), BUT in this particular case, VIA (the open source software we use) doesn't allow you to do it easily. You will need to use a software such as autohotkey (www.autohotkey.com/) which allows you to make specific shortcuts do anything you want on your computer (ie: launch specific software, type specific phrases). We are happy to provide in-depth support if you have any further questions! You can email us at contact@arrayperipherals and either I or my brother will try to get you all sorted.
how can I combine multiple keys in one key? if I want to press a key and it presses win+z?
After I program the macro on the pad. Can I use it on another computer and it will play the macro I programmed?
yes! once you've used VIA to customize the key functions, you can plug it into another computer and those same functions will work, even if that other computer doesn't have VIA installed
If my keyboard were to not have F1-F12 keys could I bind them to a macro pad?
Hi! Yes you definitely can and it's one of the most common ways people use macropads. Also very very easy to do using VIA configurator (if the specific macropad supports it like ours does).
@@arrayperipherals okay thank you I have one more question that’s kinda off topic but is there a way to change a function keys function
for example if mute value was on f7 but I wanted to put it on F2
@@co7309 this is usually a software level thing (depending on what specific software you're using). there's probably software that will allow you to change it, but super dependent on your setup, your input devices, etc
Does this come with a USB-C cord or do we have to buy one separately?
This does not come with a micro-usb cable, so you would have to purchase one separately (or use one you have). Please ensure that the micro-usb cable is rated for data transfer (and not just power like some micro-usb cables are)!
@@arrayperipherals Ahhh alright, thanks bro
Does this work with the Icue software too?
hi, thanks for your interest. unfortunately, we did not design our software to be iCue compatible.
@@arrayperipherals Ok... That is one of the majlr key points for me when i buy a mouse/keyboard/accessory because i don't want to have multiple apps open that customize my setup design and eat the ram of my laptop ._.
Anyways, thanks for telling me!
is this hotswappable with cherry mx, gateron, nk, kailh and many other switches?
edit: and where can we get its software?
hey, thanks for your interest. unfortunately, this is our first version and does not feature hotswappability. We do offer a variety of switches as options. We hope to bring the feature in the future if we have the opportunity to do so :)
ahh i see thanks
@@arrayperipherals do you have the software for it like a link or a link to a zip file?
@@altairibn-laahad9783 www.arrayperipherals.com/user-guide has the guide to set up the board (as well as the link to download the software). For our product specifically, the software recognizes the layout as soon as you plug it in, so all you need to do is assign the functions you want without having to deal with flashing, firmware, etc! We go through all of the instructions in the linked user guide. Hope this helps!
@@arrayperipherals thanks
do you have a 10 key horizontal bar?
we're just getting started and this is our first product. it's just me and my brother working on everything, but we do hope to have wider range of products in the near future!
@@arrayperipherals o nice
@@arrayperipherals i think a 10 key product would be awesome
Can i use this to mute my mic
hi! thanks for reaching out. yes you can, depending on which software you use for video conferencing, it's usually a keyboard shortcut that can then be assigned to a single key on the macropad. if you have any any questions when trying to set it up, we're happy to provide support! There's also a guide on our website that walks you through the process.
Can I have a discount please
