Whats so lame about this game is you see the kind of internal and skeletal damage that the player does to the enemies in the slo-mo bits, but then you see the bodies after that and they are still intact.
Its lame to see half a guy's head be blown off in the X-RAY sniper bits and then his head is totally intact when you actually view the body.

The reason people don't complain about cs is because it works. If it ain't broke don't fix it kind of deal. Besides people always complain about cheaters in every game but rarely does it happen. Plus what bugs are you talking about? I play cs all the time and I don't spot bugs hardly ever.

I love Sniper Elite but damn, They use the same sounds and movements, they barely added anything new

Not every time there are games that replace or changed sounds before the game comes out. Could be possible that they wanted to show an early alpha and the sounds just weren't ready. Tbh if its the same war and time frame I see no issue with that. Surely they'll show some new mechanics in the future, who really knows.

Looks like it's played on a low difficulty. You can play on elite or the real thing difficulty like in SE3
They need to move the setting to world war 1 or Vietnam. This looks too much like the visuals of V2 and the gameplay of 3.

They need to step up their game and start making drastic changes in sound, design, and graphics in order to lure the audience. Either they do have the talent but have obstacles or they are just a plain mediocre team.
Oh, and the a.i. is kinda crappy.

dude it's Alpha gameplay footage. What we're looking at isn't even the finished product. I'm sure by the time the game gets released the graphics will be a lot sharper.

I love the environment on this game. and the slow motion when the bullet Pierce through an enemy head that was totally fantastic. when u can see their skull break when the bullet hit them. something like a video on a discovery Channel.

Playing SE on the hardest setting and having to deal with real time ballistics, wind, etc is one of the most intense and rewarding gaming experiences ever.
Why would they do the same thing over and over again. We get it, you hate nazis. How about you mix things up abit, and do a game from the other sides perspective. German on the eastern front. Finnish sniper fighting in the snow against the soviets. Soviet sniper against the germans. German sniper against the americans. Japanese sniper against the chinese, chinese sniper against the japanese. American sniper against the japanese, Japanese sniper against the americans. ANYTHING OTHER THAN THIS! 0/10 wont even pirate this copy paste no effort garbage.

Few things to improve but looks very good in general.
I liked that the officer at 4:10 had more relevant information about the mission, pretty nice little detail.

Playing stealth games with a minimap makes you a bad stealth game player.
Tbh when I play any first or third person shooters with a mini map I forget about it and barely use it

Opinionated.
As someone who actually served in the army I can tell: It is VERY possible to overlook someone in the bushes if he is laying still. You can try this yourself if you have a woodland paintball area near you. Next time you play try to lie absolutely motionless in some high grass. Even in the open can work as long as your clothes are dark. Eyes are trained to see certain patterns and movment. During one exercise I was laying right beside a street about 5 meters away from an enemy patrol, there were at least 5 guys looking directly at me without noticing me. And even in firefights when you know the enemy is there it´s actually very hard to make out where the enemy is exactly if he is keeping low. What annoys me more is that they don´t take up any proper defense positions but instead keep on walking seperately once the fight has started.
games can have at least a vague sense of realism. if you make everything too unbelievable and floaty there is no weight or grounding to it so none of the cool things you do really matter and the setting (ww2) is wasted. you might as well just be god or superman

They should finally move away from World War 2 and maybe go to the Cold War setting? Like Vietnam or something like that? I think it would be cool.
They really need to come up with something new becuase this is getting old. I've played them all and hardly see any improvement or any reason to purchase this one at all. How about a Vietnam setting, or Korean, or a cool story set in the cold war, or how about WWII in the Pacific with varying scenery? Anything to get away from this constant, nagging mess. This looks like a remastered version of Sniper Elite 2.
I concur. Perhaps a Vietnamese guerrilla sniper would be a breath of fresh air.

I agree with others that they aren't really trying anything new. However, I do really love how this and Sniper Elite 3 (not so much Sniper Elite V2) are like WWII era Splinter Cell games. I also like the wide open outdoor environments. I love Splinter Cell, but I wish it had more missions set in the outdoors rather than inside.

10:20 Just take a look at how much pops up in the HUD when you kill a guy. Does the game not trust me to feel good that I sniped someone while watching their internal organs explode in slow motion? Do they really need to shove over 6 different +XP messages in my face for that?

Seems to be on the easiest difficulty. If it's anything like SE3 it will get really hard on the realistic setting.

Just play Sniper Elite V2. It's cheaper and arguably the best experience regarding this series. I've beaten it twice over and can recommend it just as much as any newer version! :)

That's definitely what they portrayed around 3:05. I really wish the entertainment industry would drop this myth though. Even if the nose were composed entirely of sharp, hard bone, it wouldn't have the length to penetrate the brain. Cartilage from a broken nose crumples long before puncturing anything, and broken fragments of the cribiform plate could never penetrate the thick base of the brain cavity.

Whoever played to capture this is awful. My view upon sniper elite is the insight of a sniper. Being undetected, swift, and precise. Not sloppy and using a sub Machine gun while going hand to hand with 9/10 enemies. This looks better than SE3 in some aspects but this gameplay barely captures it.
