Why does this not happen for me in Sketchup Pro? I can type the new length in the box, but I don't get a dialogue box asking if I want to rescale the model. Is there a way to make this happen?

not sure if you got it, but you have to make the object a group then component. then u can use tape measure. get two points. then type in dimension. it used to fail for me until i made the drawing or image a group & component. only then did it work for me.

Awesome! I didn't know that. Thanks Justin.
I wish I could've saved this video but unlike UA-cam videos TikTok doesn't allow that I guess.

I know I'm late for 3 months but you can actually save yt shorts to your playlist/watch later.
      - If you're on your phone, go to your history (if necessary tap _view all_ ), there's a 3 vertical dots button below or right beside the short, tap it and you'll see the options to save it to your playlist
      - if you're on your pc/desktop, you can use the same method above OR, search the short on the creator's channel, click the video short you are looking for and the short will come out as regular yt video interface with buttons and descriptions below it, lastly you can click the +save button to save the short.
      hope this helps!

@@user-yk2jq4hs5j I appreciate you getting back on this. I realized later that it was a "UA-cam Shorts" video and I was able to save it. Thanks much!
