Hi everyone. This video will show you how to calculate the correlation coefficient with a formula step-by-step.
This video was exactly what I needed thanks so much
Thanks. Don't forget I have other statistics videos for you. Please subscribe to my channel - @t
Life saver!!! You explained so much better within 9 minutes than my lecturer did in 2hours 🤓👏🏼
This is a more comprehensive video on the correlation coefficient. I watched another video and she totally forgot to mention the square root. I think its important to go through every step in a how to video. Thank you. I understand this now.
This is by far the BEST explanation of the correlation coefficient that I have come across. Thank you!!!!
Thanks. Please share with your friends. Also more videos on statistics at ua-cam.com/play/PLwkuA9oqOxXSQZ7s97Z2ona1VNmiwyUlR.html
That is the most brilliant, simple and applicable way of explaining it. Well Done!!

Too true
Yes an excellent video it is really very fruitful and comprehensive I must appreciate the instructor for his effort and uploading the video for our use. Thank you so much
FINALLY someone that makes sense
Tomorrow i have an examination of vital statistics i was wondering how i will deal the correlation and the coefficients but now since i watched this video i understand it 100% thank you so much
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I hope you do well on your exam. I know that this is not an easy subject, but do your best.
Hands down perfection. This was very easy to follow. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you very much sir... Because of you...I passed my exam..I was very poor in Biostatistics nd not give active in class... because of your maths i got passed by seeing your videos
Congratulations!
this is the most encouraging ,easiest explanation of correlation coefficient i've watched thank you so much for making it very easy ,allah bless you,
Thank you.
cylurian thank you very much.. clear and useful
dude i just found the best bacon. you want to try some i'll pay for shipping
@@ManMan-qj4ss do you still have that bacon?
Thank you for teaching this. Makes so much sense now. Bless up!!!!

Excellent video! The easiest way of breaking down (r) in my opinion. Cheers!
Thanks. Please share with others.
Best vid out there hands down
nice video for the learners. the tutor teaches with patience
You're a lifesaver! You went through a whole statistics section from my book In 9 minutes😃😃😃😃😃
Thank you. Please share this videos with others and watch my other videos on stats. Good luck!
Thank you SO much for this video. It was clear and helpful. This is how simple learning should be. I've been struggling with this particular formula (and math is NOT my strong point) but you've made it so easy, and it's all finally clicked. Thank you!
This tutorial gave me a clear idea. Thanks alot.
Thank you! You explained 4 pages of nonsense from my stats textbook in clear and concise language, you should be a professor.
it's clear, concise, easy to understand. 👍👍
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is what I needed
Thanks correlation coefficient is very clearful concept
completely awesome ...helped a lot and in time for my exam on monday
+sadistqueen480 Super. Tell your friends.
Thank you so much!!!! I just might pass this statistics exam!
Thank you for helping me in my works you teach me a lot and thanks to you that I can answer all of my works easily now so thanks 😁
No problem Edrian. Share this video with your friends. Good luck with your math homework.
Thanks!
thank you... sir ,it helped me a lot...u thought easier than my lecturer
Awesome Example! Extremely Helpful and easy to follow! Thank you.
So glad you told that you had to multiply the square brackets, was wondering for a while there :P , at least it make sense now. and maybe i can understand signal filtering one day, since the N array can be sample of anything.
Thank you! This video beautifully sorted out my problem, helped alot.
your handwriting is amazing
very easy explaination and cleared
Thank you very much
This more help me than the document explanation of my teacher
You're welcome. Share this with your classmates. Be safe.

The best teaching ever
Very kind you said that. Please share this link with your friends.
This video was the best ever
I learned easily, Thank you so much💖
Great. I hope you do well in your math.
In correlation we don't know about whats the dependent and what's the independent variables... When we know we use regression... We use correlation just when we dont know which one is dependent and which one is independent variables..cylurian😊😊
best tutor. thumbs up
Clear explaination, Good job. Thanks.
its amazing style of teaching sir
Thank you. Have a great day.
@@cylurian but I think ur video is not complet
Thank you sir for the clear explanation.

Thank you very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very much.
Very useful! Thank you so much!
The closer a number is to +1 or -1, the stronger the relationship is.
What a good explanation
Thank you. Please share with others.
You saved my life
God Bless u!!! This help me a lot, teach more better than my teacher!!! Pls did I need to put 0.811 or just .811?
Hi Jacinta. I'm glad it helped. Most teachers will tell you 0.811. Though .811 or 0.811 is correct.
Hi I liked your lecture very much- I’m also into Online teaching- I wish to know how you got this character by character animation? Did you used writing ✍️ stylus and any animation technique?
Thank you so much! This is really really helpful and easy to understand, I am really grateful to be able to find this, thanks again and again for your video and effort!
Good vid, but you could also have thrown in the coefficient of determination in there by squaring R, it's one step and pretty important for further interpretation
Thanks dude. Pass the love with your other friends.
This is really helpful
Thank you. Good luck.
Thank You!!!! Great Video!!
Explaining the results more. (*0.81) means a stronger correlation because it's close to (1). If its (-1) or closer to it, then it's also a strong correlation.
Zero or very close to zero means no correlation.
Hello ATM. Good question. The range of r goes from -1 to 1, including 0. When the trend of the data is negatively correlated meaning the data points are trending downwards, then the r value will be negative, but you have negative values from -1, -0.9, -0.8....-0.2, -0.1, 0. Which negative number will it be. Well that's where the definition of correlation coefficient comes in. Correlation coefficient is the strength and direction of the data. I just talked about the negative trend, which is "direction" and thus the r value with be negative. Now, we need to know the "strength". The strength is how "tight" the points are together. The more spread the data points are, then r will be closer to 0. If the data points are closer together then r will be closer to -1. When r = -1, then all the data points are aligned together in a negative trend. This idea also occurs the other way, when the trend of the data points have a positive trend, and thus r is positive. The more the data points are aligned then r will get closer to 1. Good luck ATM.
Your video helped me 100%. THANK YOU! :)
You are welcome. Tell your friends about this video.
Well explained..

Good Luck! Share it with your friends.
thanks dude you've saved me
I understand everything in this video. I do have a question. My teacher always asks us to explain why the correlation is strong. And since i missed a view cllasses i have no idea how to properly answer this question.
