Was going to return this to the retailer. Thanks a lot for the video.
Bought the VMP+ about a week ago ,and couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. Your video helped. Cheers
Thanks dude ❤️ You saved me lot of electricity
I bought the microphone and that's what I did, and I pressed the buttons for some secrets combinations and turned off the microphone :) . Very useful video. Thank you.
Saved me some dixking about. Thank you.
This may come in useful at some point with owning one. Thanks for sharing.
Man, you saved my time giving it back thinking its faulty. Thank you so much :)
Thats why the internet is great. I’m on a job and was frustrated. Now I am happy.
Thanks for the help!!! This feature is exactly why I bought the mic :)
Thanks man!
👍 #163 I must be the only one where what you showed works on the mic but not with the camera? I followed your video and got the single flashing light to indicate the auto power *should* then work with the camera switching off and on.... but it doesn't. *Can anyone suggest anything*? I am using a Nikon Coolpix P1000.
Same here... worked great for years with a Canon Rebel T7i, but must have switched it off accidentally. The lights flash like in this video, but it still won't work with the camera
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so much. I was returning it to B&H tomorrow. as defective.
I had the same problem and finally found the solution, nice video, thanks
I can’t get this to work with C200. It works great with my DSLR but it’s like the C 200 isn’t sending the signal to turn it on. Any suggestions?
Thanks man, you just made my day
SOOOO helpful, thank you x
Works great! thanks for this video. You guys were the only video that helped

Thanks man! Helped a lot!
will it work on the r6 mk 2 mirrorles TIA
I did exactly what you said and its still not turning on automatically when I turn on my sony a7siii, it use to be working perfectly so i dont understand why its not anymore, any additional help would be greatly appreciated!
thanks buddy it help me
You're welcome!
Hi there, I have a Canon 700D and when I turn on the camera, the microphone doesn't turn off automatically. I tried your tip and I can see the green light's but still it doesn't do it. Do you have your microphone in the camera or the camera on? Or is it maybe because my camera is an older type?
Same with me.... can't get it to work
@@PapaPepper Meanwhile I have Canon 6D Mark II and there it works. I suppose it's because it's a newer model.
@@femfiol i tried for quite a while earlier and just gave up. It used to work, suddenly stopped, now no matter what I try it still won't work... such is life
Cheers.
the reason someone may want to use this setting, at least me personally, is because my camera (GoPro) has a file limit of 4gb and will "turn off/on again" after that file limit is reached. it's instantaneous. It's a setting that can't be changed for some reason and since the camera restarts so quickly, the mic doesn't catch it and doesn't turn back on.
yes!! Thanks! ♥
Life saver. Frustratingly, it just appeared to stop auto powering on or off after I hadn’t used it for a while.
Solution at 1:00
Press high pass and power at same time
❤️
use it your audio is not good
Hahaha yeah it’s shocking which is ironic
The reason you would want to disable it.. is when your stupid headphone jack stops working on your sony and only one channel works and it will randomly power off while recording.
Answer is at 1.00. Before just meaningless and brainless talkin about nothing. u r wlcm
Thanks dude!!
