having had to do this ice hole thing for real and ALONE, I can say that the practice saved my life,. we actually have this as voluntary part in schools grade 6 up,, most do it, it is a safety matter up here in Northern Sweden. I live about 70km from the Arctic circle so snow is possibility from late September to late may. even had few snowflakes falling on midsummer's eve one year.
Pretty sure we did that in either year 7 or 9 at my high school in Karlstad. However, I opted out and didn't do anything like it until years later in life.
@Luggruff I live roughly at arctic circle so I guess we were more motivated as ice is on most water for something like six months or even longer some years... Having had friends falling through ice while playing has happened few times
Well Cam was chilling in the ice cold water 🥶😂. So Izzy would u & Cam express ya preferred ways to have Toyota pickup trucks modified & weaponized into modular technicals with y both ya respective designs? 🤔
This looks cool, and with the backpack it's difficult for sure, but jumping in a frozen lake and getting out, was part of phys ed in my scool when i was about 12 in Sweden.
My nice was in the "fältjäkare" he told me it was super easy. Worth saying is that he is 195 and built like a brick outhouse. Something like 130kg of muscle. Why it was super easy. well when ever there was a fire fight, he was always marked as wounded, and the other people would be forced to carry him. So he could just chill back and relax. Every time (well the solo missions was a bit harder)
Just a important advice for any viewer, anyone who has heart problems should not jump into water in winter, People have died because of it, Cold weather/water makes your arteries shrink instantly because of the cold and that may cause a heartattack. Maybe i'm slightly wrong about that but i'm generally right. If you're gonna do it, i suggest you check your heart and overall health out first.
there is a youtube series by a former german "ranger/paratrooper" where they did the same training with streamers/influencers. pretty much the same drills. you guys seem to be faster at it 😅
I did that shit, its cold but you do it. It mas mandatory for all Swedish men to do it once u turn 18. Its not even special forces, its standard recruit if u end up serving in the north. Now its different i think, but back in the 90s it was just normal to do that.
Thanks for the compliments guys! Hope you had a nice visit to our country
Every conscript in Northern part of Sweden does this every year. Not only the special forces, but everyone.
These recap/behind the scenes are great! I loved the show revisiting this with additional info is super cool.

I'll always love hearing good things about our little corner of the world. Happy y'all like it , and welcome back anytime!
Our drill sergeant told us to just "stop freezing" during our outdoor cold activities!
When I was in the Royal Marines , and did Cold Weather Training, I love doing, the cold water.
Loving this look behind scenes and commentary about the series with Cameron and Israel.
Cam's willpopwer must be ironclad for dude to keep going like that.
Surprised to hear Cam wasn’t feeling so great prior to the ice bath, cause it really sucked when he was told he couldn’t participate in the final op

9:39 Every military show needs its shirtless volleyball moment.
Toughest force on Earth is a bit embarrassing to hear...as a Swede. Sure it's tough, but so is others tests too.
Makes more sense now that Cam looked so much better after his 'day' of rest lol
Laughing my ass off of the hot tub scene 😂😂
God, I miss you two so much.
The GGK episode was my favorite, really tough soldiers

I binged this entire show in like one day. What’s going on from Idaho
