For photos and video-I'd say most of the time yes the 6a is better. I would prefer the display, speakers, and faster charging speed from the 12T though. Definitely tradeoffs.
Hi, I would like to know in your opinion if you had to buy between Xiaomi 12T Pro and Oneplus 10 Pro what you would choose for Filmic Pro and Motioncam, thanks
Hello Leonellomaganza! 10 Pro for sure. MotionCam wasn't stable enough to use on the 12T Pro and there seems to be some general bugs that need to be fixed in the 12T Pro including the camera system. I also generally prefer the OnePlus camera app over Xiaomi's.
Sorry if I take advantage given your experience and knowledge, and what would you choose between Oneplus 10 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G, both x Filmic Pro and x Motioncam, thanks
@@leonellomaganza2790 Hmmmm. Actually I think they are pretty similar in performance for both apps. The 10 Pro can shoot 4K 120ftps video though, but you lose that impressive zoom zoom from the Samsung. I think you might need to consider other factors when deciding between those two devices. They're possibly the two best Android flagships of 2022. Battery life, software support, will show more differences than camera performance, especially in those apps.
Heyy it's me again. I wanna ask you about your experience with the F4. I think of all reviews I've seen one criticism of the F4 main camera is the colours are unnatural and not accurate. And 4K video recording has non-stop focus hunting. The selfie has a permanent beauty mode and colours again are not accurate Have you had those issues with your time with the phone? Or have they been fixed with updates?
Hey Gino! 4k video has some focus hunting, but definitely not terrible. Color is a problem yes. You can turn off the beautify setting. It's a lower mid range Poco camera system. GCam definitely can help, but it's going to always be weaker than something like the 6a. From what I've seen, the Nothing Phone would beat it as well. Not terrible, still usable, but some editing or GCam will be beneficial.
@@phonecomp I bought a brand new Poco F4 and I havent opened it yet. Trying to sell it. OnePlus has a month long (on & off/intermittent) Christmas sales and i am still tempted to get the 10T. I know it will be a downgrade from my current one the S20 FE 5G (in terms of only a 10x digital zoom, poor audio pickup when video recording, lack of an IP rating, a somewhat slower update cycle amongst others) but would also be an upgrade in many ways (bigger screen, much newer/more powerful chipset, louder speakers, dual LED flash, faster touch sampling rate, faster performance, etc.). And if rumours of a OnePlus 11 is to go by i can use my 10T as a better trade-in deal in the future compared to a Samsung phone like mine). On the other hand i can also just get a OnePlus 9 and still be happy with its performance and stuff. In your experience or from what you've been hearing which company has a better community support in terms of GCam: Xiaomi/Poco or OnePlus?
@@TechNomadUK1 Hmmm better GCam community? Last year I might have said OnePlus, but I think Xiaomi has the larger community now. Especially when you consider that Xiaomi simply rebadges a lot of devices between it's brands--so an F4 GCam port will also work on a Redmi K50 or what have you.
@@phonecomp I'm not sure if I asked this question before but is it true that if you install a 3rd-party launcher on a Poco F4 the fullscreen gestures wouldn't work? Why do you think so? Is there a workaround? Can you install third-party icon packs as normal tho?
@@TechNomadUK1 With a third-party launcher you can install icon packs as normal, but yes, you do lose gesture support. I'm not sure why Xiaomi does this, but it's a huge frustration for me. I did make a video about a workaround, but it's far from ideal.
Hello Don! I thought some were for sure, I'm pretty disappointed with the iPhone in general. After using Androids for years, it's hard to switch--and the camera is definitely not a good reason (maybe the pro models are vastly superior, but I haven't had the chance to test one yet).
@@phonecomp I have watched reviews about the new models and the pro ones have the ability to shoot in RAW with the native camera app, the results are very very good.
Hello! I haven't tested the 12T yet, but I do remember liking the 11T Pro's selfie cam and I'm sure it has likely improved since I tested. The Poco F4 does a better job with GCam, I actually just posted some videos comparing the Realme GT Neo 3T if you wanted to see some updated F4 shots.
POCO F4 test with gcam, 1. nikita gcam 1.8 based on 8.2.300 with fury-nikita-8.2-v1.4 (f3).xml 2.LMC 8.4 based on gcam 8.2 with ironheart 1.2.xml i found these most suitables but a mile ahead than stock one both daylight and night fotos even in LMC mod u can use 64MP mode which better than actually stock 64MP mode

*Google mastered that IMX363 sensor on the Pixel 6a to the core!* So much so that it's beating the phones with newer sensors too.
I agree User! Not the results I was expecting. The 6a is probably the best budget camera phone of the year.
just bought pixel 6a, thanks for the comparison bro
Hello Mochastellar! You are so welcome! I hope you really like the 6a, its really been my "go-to" phone after I finish testing new devices.

I forgot about that. If I can swing it, I'll get one in for testing. Maybe with the S23 Ultra.
