I was REALLY lucky to see Norman Wisdom at the Liverpool Empire in the late 1960s then in the mid 1990s got to work with him. He paid me the best compliment about the standard of my work and laughed and joked with me like he had know me all my life. Pitken will NEVER be forgotten by me.
This is my favourite Norman film. I can't believe he passed :/ On my birthday aswell :(!! I've been a huge fan since I was little and I still am. RIP Norman you legend xxx

flawless film. brilliant. flawless comedic performance from Sir norman. the window dressing scene and the scene in the boss's office are two favorites :) keepin the angels archangels and saints and even the Big Chief in giggles no doubt
