The Wedding was supposed to be off limits but the reaction it brought out tryna get to Winston and Peggy in time the creators of this game did an amazing job
I really like the story line that how a cop gets so much attached to gangsters and now he is one of them! he is one of the cops, he is one of the gangsters, he is just so much trapped!
To me, it was sad but I feel saddest part is after you have done all the main missions, everything is done, your girlfriends just disappeared, so you stayed alone the whole time.
Of all the things in Mafia 2 you just had to pick that Henry one. You played with your eyes/ears closed? Henry was a rat and was about to sell out both Vito and Joe. Sure, whether he deserved to die the way he did is debatable. If I am picking anything from Mafia 2 then its definitely the ending of it. It really got me.
This was the mission where the game completely changed vibes. Even when it was violent earlier it was in small bursts. You werent violently murdering people much before this mission.
Love the narrative of this game, full throttle action classics. This is why I will always love this game. But question remains, why did they even COME UP with a wedding event even though they know that the deal with the triands is not finished? They could just postponed the wedding until things feels alittle safer or if impatient just have a private wedding where no other person is coming so that no one is harmed. Winston could have lived and learned the truth about Wei.

story wise and combat wise but GTA V had heists and you can fly helicoper and planes and you can upgrade your cars and buy better guns .Sleeping dogs does had better story and WAYYYYYYY better combat but any else GTA V domicates
Jackie is literally one of those guys you see at the end of the mission when you have to get Uncle Po across the street to take him to the hospital. Jackie even talks to you at that point as he and the other guys he's gathered are returning fire to the remaining triad members.
Many games desperately try to have a compelling story with believable characters, but none can convey the same heartbreaking helplessness as Sleeping Dogs.
What's funny is that I just saw the church fight in "kingsman" (fantastic film must watch if you haven't - it's about British spies but with a modern twist) - and I realised with the amount of fighting stuff in this great game you could almost recreate the fight! A bit of a random thought but in my opinion a do-able one

I really feel like Peggy should have been introduced a bit earlier cause we only see her for 1 missions prior to this Also this scene would have more impact had we actually seen the deaths unfold infront of us like red wedding style. Instead it just kinda happens off camera. Eh idk a bit of missed opportunity and something I noticed while replaying it recently.
Man i actually still play this in 2021 And this mission really pissed me off Winston and Peggy died😢 I actually find all health shrines and get like 9 jade statue to upgrade my melee man it gave mena little adventage and give me a little easy in the mission because this mission is a little tough i was able to kill 18k triads and save the girl who was a hostage at the kitchen all i can say is i was fighting like a badass😤😎👍🔥

I’ve been stuck on that mission since 2012 and I just managed to to do it. I got stuck on the 360 and then stuck on the Xbox one. Lol
