Thanks Max! Blessings to you!
Thank you and blessings to you as well!!🙏🏼
Thanks for the video, Max. I enjoyed watching you do this carving.
Everything answer I was searching for I found watching your video, good job!
thank you so much for this!!
Of course!
very good, thank, hello from Colon, Panama.
That's a good idea! I use carbon paper for wood burning and power carving but this saves an extra step for power carving at least.
Carbon paper is the way to go..... I prefer to outline right onto the wood rather than go through paper.
thanks!! great idea!
Thank you!
Nice video, Thanks!
Thank you! You are very welcome!
So I have tried this but there are times when the grain of the wood pulls the tip and digs deeper or it might push me outside the line is there anything I might try how to stop that?
Thank you so much.
No problem!
Great video! Is there a way to smooth out the insides when the letters are larger?
Excellent! Thank you# wish I could find something about using an earlier version - the Dremel router attachment 230!
Hi! Great Video! You were able to carve those letters without a Dremel Router attach steady base! How did you get the deep darker wood pattern? Did you use an Acetylene Torch or some Wood Stain liquid?
Thank you very much! Just using a propane torch 👍🏼
Awesome, thanks. About to engrave some woodwork for our granddaughters 1st birthday 🎂👍
Thats awesome! I hope it goes well!👍🏼
I'm just starting out. Carved maybe 20 letters and numbers. Glue stick worked well for me holding paper template
Glad to hear! And the glue stick is a good idea!
I have a question, do you go in the same direction with the bit turning clockwise or counter clockwise Or does it matter? Great video thanks for sharing.
I havent ever taken that into consideration so i dont think it should matter, thank you very much Ron i appreciate it!!
What kit was that in the beginning that you had? Do I need it? And so I need that extension pen thing you use?
That's Dremel rotary tool. Thinner extension tool must purchase separately.
Is there a way to carve it without the Dremel, like a knife or something?
Could you also use vinyl cut outs from a Cricut instead of using paper? Might adhere better with less paper walking.
I’m Stumped have you tried using a vinyl stencil? I was thinking the same thing. I have a Silhouette Cameo, but no printer, so hopefully that will work.
Stephanie Price I have on a couple of wood working projects. Working on a leaner now and plan on painting the board white put the letters on then painting it black and removing the letters
It seems like I’ve seen something to that effect in a video posted by Christy Cain, The Appalachian Home where she used stain. I plain to try it in the future.
Do u try smoothing out the inside?
I guess i just do my best to carve it out as smooth as i can but if you would like, there are some grinding bits for the dremel that you could use to make it smoother
@@MaxF01 do u ever fill the inside with color, like black?
@@Extremebananalover when i carve stars on flags i sometimes add white stain to them but other than that i have not, but i think it would look really good!
what about like size 10 font
You could definitely do it, it just makes the details a little bit harder since they are smaller
Stain first?
what does ABC - 60 mean?
what do i do if my dremel fits on my drill too loose :(((
Hmm do you mean the bit is loose in the dremel?
Does Dremel make a fingernail cleaning attachment? I know, I know, a d*ck comment. But, I wanted to watch the video because it was interesting and couldn’t get past those claws.
Haha I apologize for that they were a little out of control... but anyways im glad you thought the video was interesting!
