Thumbs up from me. I really enjoyed this video. This rifle is on my wish list for my collection. We used to do the woods walk with muzzle loaders. We would have a double bit axe blade stuck in the side of a stump with a clay pigeon on each side of the blade and try to split the ball and break both of them. Another one was a playing card stuck sideways in a stump. Try splitting it from the side. Lol. My friend could do it well.
BluegrassBushcraft you’re giving me some ideas. When I was a kid I would prop a hatchet against a fence post, and place two coke cans behind it on both sides, and try to get both with my .22 cal Benjamin pellet gun. I did manage to get them a couple times.
BluegrassBushcraft it took a lot of trying. Later on I tried it with a .22lr , and it took some nasty nicks from the edge of my Estwing hatchet, so I had to quit.
Looked like you were having fun with it, big smile shows that.
TheCanadianBubba you got that right. I’ll have to do it again.
Sweet! Woods walkin’ in style!
Like a Swiss watch. You sort of have to expect a good rifle from the Swiss.Thank you for taking us along, John
That was awesome nice shooting
Some of those old rifles are really hard to beat. This seems to be one of them. Sounds like it pretty accurate for an older gun too.
That was fun to watch too!
David West I’ve got to do it again.
Settle down out there mister, having way too much fun ! Nice ole milsurp rifle
That is a beauty. Great video.
Love it!!!
BATJAC J.W It was a lot of fun. I'll sure be doing it again.
Enjoyed the video John ... after an M1 & M14 that would be my next choice! All the best.
Mike Cox I’ve never fired the the M14. It feels weird saying it, but I like the k31 more than the Garand.
That was fun I have never had one in my hands John. You should be saving that brass one of these dys your going to want it to reload

John Capps man I was talking about a 50 cal. Ball. No way I could even get close with a 22 cal.

2 liter killer hahaha. Good shooting.
