Pepper epitomizes what rock is supposed to be. Just write songs play and have fun. That's probably why COC and Down are so good, he just let's it rip. Definitely one of the heaviest riff masters in the history of the riff.
That's why most real Rockers appreciate the Underground bands like COC and Down. Fuck Metallica and Five Finger Deathpunch. Those guys are for metal christians lol. Safe and predictable.

Pepper, Woody, and Mike of COC are a legendary band that deserves your attention! They have an original sound that caught my attention immediately when I first heard them. These guys have earned there place in history!! Saw them lots back in the day. My favorite was the "America's Volume Dealer" Tour. Try to keep it short. Saw them is Lowell Massachusetts in that years winter tour and was just trying to buy Pepper a beer after the show but the Mass Police where trying to clear the crowd and pushed me and Pepper out the the back door, it was 10 below zero that night! They pushed me and the headliner band singer out the back door? Pepper said WTF! Kicked the door and we both got back in. Pepper said he's with me and brought me to the green room and we partied till 4 am!! Needless to say, I didn't make it to work the next day!! Thanks guys for appreciating your fans as much as we appreciate you!! COC!!
UA-cam just randomly suggested this clip to me, and I'm glad I watched it. I decided to poke around the channel a bit and was happy to see a few other interviews done by this guy. I love how he's interviewed a few people from "before his time". It's almost allowed the musicians to open up in a way and act more like a fatherly figure than a peer. They all also indulge in just a bit of nostalgia and reflection on the younger years. Awesome work, and much respect all around. Hopefully we get more once things get back to normal.
