Interesting commentary as always Duane. Ren regularly talks about these large societal issues, especially around money and the environment. Although we can't solve these issues as individuals, we can do it as communities, by pooling out knowledge and problem solving abilities. We have to push for the right priorities.
In my opinion, we need to start reminding ourselves & those around us to work together to improve our lives. Removing greed from this money game should be priority #1 & taught to all our children from the day they’re born.
There are no politicians or superheroes who are going to fix our problems. We need to work together to save ourselves. 💜

if we took money out of the equation, if we took profit out of the equation, if we returned to "barter" the idea of trading service for something else (like we used to centuries ago) ...
And this is why I stopped taking all my meds. I have learned to manage,understand and accept my mental issues. I am 46 years old. I was misdiagnosed for years and slapped with many different mental disorders. Bipolar, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and borderline personality disorder.
They put me on all kinds of meds. None of which worked and made me go insane. I ended up quitting all meds and turned to hard drugs for many years.
I quit drugs in 2010 all together.
I have read many books and researched ways to cope. Through exercise, diet, mindfulness, being able to calm myself down with breathing exercises, etc..
I know certain medication helps some people with their chemical imbalance. However, I chose not to take the poisons anymore or deal with the pigs.
Just MY decision.
I am doing just fine now ❤️
All it takes is one person at a time. Might take a long while, but HOPE is still something we all can strive for and do better .
One little correction brother Duane, the saying is not "money is the root of all evil". The actual saying is (("The pursuit of money is the root of all evil")). Money itself isn't in-heartily evil, it's just paper & metal my friend. Money is used for trade in exchange for goods and services, simple in it's premise, until GREED starts breaking through.
It's what we do to obtain that paper & the S*it many people turn a blind eye to, happily compromising there own boundaries & morality along the way. So many people in this day and age would sell their soul or even worse, sell someone else out, their willingness to step on anyone in the path of their relentless pursuit of material wealth is all too common. ✌
