Personally, I feel like she’s great overall, but too broad. She can be a great slot in any team, however, if said teams have access to more specific and complementary supports overtime, Ruan Mei will be just ok to use, perhaps for being such a staple character. It’s a skip for me, due to a combination of, having build a Bronya, Hanya and Tingyun (C6) and also, not being exited about her kit or animations. I still appreciate her debut in the game and wish everyone luck in getting her.
i’m 70 into pity. if i don’t get her in my first 10 pull, i’ll continue to pull until i get her and i won’t go for the LC. if i do get her in the first 10 pull, then i’ll go for her LC

Thank you for the video Destiny! I'm pulling for E0. I was planning to skip for Ratio, but since he's free it will let me pull for her and I'm super excited about her. One of the cooler aspects of her kit is that she increases damage% as opposed to Bronya who increases CD, so she will be super useful in DOT teams (as well as any other team). Also, initially, I thought her ult rebloom effect would be bad for DOT teams, but then I realized that the DOTS will proc when rebloom procs, so it will work for these teams as well. I'm going for Memories of the Past, and I think this might be similar to the case with Silver Wolf's LC compared to the event LC. I don't think it will be worth pulling for her signature LC since the 4* alternative is great.
If you think about the light cone, +1 SP is like a (+) for energy Instead of Skill, Basic, basic Rotation You can do skill, basic, skill/basic It gives you the choice to reset the buff + and i think it'll be neck and neck with motp If you run her with Break effect rope, it'll be a ton better for min maxing, 0-2 cycle MoC
I’m really glad she’s going to be extremely strong since I absolutely love her design. Like Fu Xuan I might just E1S1 her depending on how pulls go. I do wish Memories was on there as that LC will be insane on her since I have Zero but oh well. With Xeuyi also coming I might even wanna build her if I get eidolons on her. Goat Banner for Mommy

You can do a Planetary rendezvous build ruan mei with Penacony set for jing liu mono team, Since most likely pela will be using the penacony set, It'll increase jing liu's damage by a lot For the "A secret vow" LC is probably going to be great with xue yi, And if you think about it Xue yi could potentially be a secondary dps in a lot of teams if you pair her with ruan mei Teams such as: Jing liu, ruan mei, xue yi, 1 sustain Or maybe Blade, Xue yi, ruan mei, 1 sustain And other team composition ✨✨Her light cone value✨✨ It can be uses for other Supports to like bronya, it'll make her a lot more versatile, but it'll have a lot of Caviats too Other unit such as hanya, yukong, asta can benefit from this light cone too ✨✨Ruan Mei's Lightcone benefit for ruan mei✨✨ It'll be crazy to see, how she performed with this light cone. Her light cone turns Her from a +1 or +2 sp character and adds +1 sp right on top, but the description is kinda vague, how do we trigger the +1 SP for example If we can trigger it many times then , just like i said, it'll be like a energy bonus for her

I feel like the Lightcone is better for completeness. Units still feel incomplete if you have them at E1 but don't have their light cone. Lightcone+unit = completeness for most player.
You could also wait too see Sparkle's kit. Once 1.6 drops, Sparkle, Black Swan, and Misha's kits will all be available online. But if you don't care about that and wan't Sparkle because of the character and the kit doesn't matter to you, then I'd say do what you want. Then again it's your account, nobody can force you on when to summon or when to skip for characters.
From what I’ve heard you can get a 3 turn ult rotation if optimized but the SLC won’t work for it only the cogs and memories of the past enable the 3 turn ult rotation but obviously she’s not out yet so we don’t know for sure...
I started with the game last Sunday. I still don't know, If I'm doing it correctly or not. I still don't understand everything, but at this moment I just want to collect waifus. 😂 I'm at balance level 1 and still trying to figure out what to do. So I want to have Ruan Mei and Kafka, but as a Genshin player I know that I won't get both without spending money. So which one to pull?
Kafka for a damage dealer, ruan Mei more for the support. Honestly since you’re new, both choices are good! If you somehow get both they would be awesome together, but for right now I’d try to play as much as you can to get as many pulls as you can and go for them!
Welcome traveller! I have Kafka and love her. Ruan Mei will likely work with tonnes of party compositions. Pull her. Kafka is fairly niche. Especially for new players. You can’t go wrong with either is the answer if you’re not picky as they should have longevity due to the way their kits work.

I mean it depends. A good and cheap to build one is meshing cogs. Guarantees 3 turn Rotation with penacony or vonwaq. Its all you need but it doesnt give break effect.
Damn, Ruan Mei! Star Rail devs really want us to roll for the first limited 5* Harmony Unit. Not just for Ruan Mei herself both for what her both her ad her LC's banners provide. Honestly glad though. Been looking forward to her finally being playable (Ruan Mei is basically our SU sugar mommy). So for her to be this good and have Xueyi in her banner too is godly for me.
I really don't want to pull for LCs anymore, it's so scary the rates. I do happen to own a Memories of the Past at max superimposition and in light of wanting to pull for Sparkle too... I may skip the LC banner. ;-; It's a tough choice for me, though.

Im skipping her. There is too many characters coming in the future as a F2P player to go for characters like her right now. Maybe on a rerun, but im gonna try, and save up enough for Black Swan, Sparkle, and sam first. considering i want to try, and get their light cones as well.
I usually make a good chunk of vids about a character before they release but it’s mainly just to talk about the updated kit & her lc. But yes, I am a firm believer in her being good & her more so full kit also looks very good. I have also made videos on Xueyi and Dr Ratio as well.
the meta is based on boba size and thiccness with a sized cake... ruan mei will be sss+ and is one of the characters with the fattest cake and biggest bobas in game and as a bonus the nicest thighs... definitely a must pull...
There'a actually two kinds of model for the tall women. Kafka and Hanya is the true mommy type model while the other ones are like Jingliu and Ruan Mei. Stelle is on a league of her own 😅
Let's just say hypothetically speaking..... you did want to roll her e1. And. Let's just say some of you may be trying to e2 Sw rn. What if i told you that you didn't have to choose between the both of them??
@@devilak74 I dont think thats correct. As far as i know, SW gives you Effect resistance decrease. Which means its (much!) easier to hit her debuffs. Ruan mei gives you def shred which means you get a raw damage buff for your whole team. Both are great but they are different things.

Going for both E1 and her LC. That is a first for me, but it's a long-term investment, as I'm sure she'll always help my teams 🎉

It depends on what you need and who do you like more honestly. Tho let me tell you, Ruan e1 is probably the best e1 in the game.
Well, if you have both, it's great, but if you can only get 1, get men's as it's the same thing as swe2 but better.
