The Uterus Piñata - Denise Dobbins

After my wife's first bout with cancer we threw a party to celebrate being done with chemo and radiation treatments. I made a Uterus piñata for her to smash in frustration. We thought she was free and clear for a year and a half until she started having abdominal pains. In January of 2017 a couple scans revealed that the cancer was back and it was bad. We started chemo again right away, made out a bucket list and started checking things off rapidly. We made a lot of memories with a lot of great people in a very short period of time. The doctors told us pretty early on that they weren't going to be able to stop it this time around. She fought hard and was active all the way up til the end. On October 2nd, 2017 she passed away. Two weeks shy of our sixth anniversary. I will never forget her and will always love her. May she rest in eternal peace.
