1998 Mariner 115

The 1998 Mariner 115 2 Stroke was the original motor installed on my Ranger 681VS from the factory. I am about to repower with a new Mercury 115 ProXS 4 Stroke. This video shows take off after idling out of a no wake zone as well as coming off plane as I entered a small bay. Great motor, just upgrading to the new 4 Stroke.

My top speed with the Mariner 115 was 45.6 GPS. I had to drop the pitch on the prop when I put on the new motor but it spins up 900 rpm higher and I can get 48 with the ProXS. This is all on a 1998 Ranger 681VS.
