I'm interested in replacing the original plastic hubs with metal ones. This year I have replaced the front & rear hubs twice, it seems to be a very weak design. Cheers.
next question... with those hot axles what is your speed like with 35 turn motors? im assuming faster than the stock speed unless the axle is geared down a lot?? just trying to find out before i order. and are you still using the stock esc and can it handle powering 2 540 motors with 35 turns?? sorry but i have a lot of questions because i am about to do the exact same project.
@@danebaker5296 at full power they are a little faster with a 2s lipo than stock ftx axles.....im using axial EA2 esc ..that powers both motors...i dont think the standard ftx is up to the job...i didnt try the standard ftx esc but the wires are really thing ..i dont think its up to powering both motors
@@piratepete1475 sorry if i ask something you said on the video but i can barely hear it with my volume all the way up. but i was curious if the factory links and shocks were able to be mounted without modification or did you have to make those custom links to actually get the axles mounted?
