And then half the millennials are divorced and dating AGAIN in our 30s and maybe you've also been widowed after the divorce so you're on the market a third time at 38, maybe also with several kids. 100% hopeless.

This is how Gen X singles feel, too. We’re still in our 40’s. Also, some of that Gen Z advice is fairly accurate in many ways. We mostly throw a middle finger at most things. 🤷♀️
Hi. "Geriatric" millennial here (apparently that's the term for it). I grew up enamored with Gen Xers. I felt like they understood my angsty, jaded soul...but now I feel like it's more that they're allergic to joy? And yeesh, so maladaptive! Thank goodness for Gen Z. I love y'all.
I’m 5-6 years younger than her (still a millennial) and I remember when I was in my 20’s all my friends had that "don’t settle!!!!!" Mentality. Maybe we all have that and grow out of it, and Gen Z are just still in it?
I'm a 34-year-old single woman, but I'm of the thought that there are definitely things people shouldn't settle or compromise on. Like, you shouldn't settle and be in a relationship just for the sake of being in one. Be with someone you actually at least like.
@@SarahSkinnyJeans You obviously don't know the birth year range for millennials. Anyone born 1981-1996/7 is a millennial. The person saying she is 5-6 years younger would mean she was born 1993 or 1994 making them a millennial.

Lmao. no one is forcing anyone to settle. There are plenty of foreign women for US guys. My wife is foreign, brought her back with me, she is beautiful, and brilliant. Now she works in DC. Best choice I ever made. I fully agree with you. American women have declared their independence, congratulations we are proud of you girs! It looks like don't need our assistance. So now that the domestic female population is no longer a concern, American men should be traveling to other countries to find a wife and contribute to their communities. Lend a hand. Improve things. Fund projects that help. Even if it is small it makes a difference. They just need to be respectful as they are representing the US wherever they go. On top of that it is great for the US population's gene pool if they bring them back and have children. It Improves the collective genetics of the country for future generations as we are getting kind of unhealthy as a whole. It's so nice to hear that American women are happy with their independence, we were kinda worried. I hope your businesses or whatever you are devoting all your free time to flourishs! I think dating is a by chance thing that if you feel a certain way about someone, talk to them about, see if it works out. If you already know how to maintain a healthy friendship then dating is just that but with a label/commitment. But nothing wrong with not dating. Just don't stonewall yourself from people that would spark joy into your life or people who would feel kinship with you.

Yep, 35 yro woman, single, no dating life/dating app fatigue. I feel our generation was the guinea pig for this "new" tech society bull. I am happy to find a guy emotionally and mentally stable, hopefully wasn't at Jan 6th and pays his bills
And hopefully you will. But I'm with Gen Z on this. Don't settle (too much). I see all my 40 yo friends in their dead marriages and I just couldn't. It's just another kind of misery.
This is coming from an old dude who’s dating days were pre internet. BUT we had a great fucking time back in our day! We still enjoy life, but I honestly look at “kids these days” and they just look like they are not having a good time. What is up with that?
❤😂
A "guy who was at Jan 6th" at least is loyal and backs up his talk with action.
Unlike most of these little boys running around.
@@danthemankhanlol what. So now being a traitor = loyal?
Man I'm 35.. single.. was in Los Angeles a year ago.. I wouldn't mind running into her 😂
Just make sure the cake rises in the oven !!!! Jk
Jesus, your standards are really low.
aye shoot your shot man lol
24: I’ll never settle!
26: “Situationships”
28: Ready to meet a husband!
30: Being more open minded
32: Considering egg freezing, ooh can’t afford that
34: Dating is like going to a grocery store during the early days of Covid
Sorry Gen Z, dating is going to suck worse for you than any generation before you as there are fewer than ever marriageable men.
Wow that has got to suck.
😭😭
lol
It's true I even wanna barth for seeing so much unwanted relationship and some I've seen do matter to each other so that's a plus
And then half the millennials are divorced and dating AGAIN in our 30s and maybe you've also been widowed after the divorce so you're on the market a third time at 38, maybe also with several kids. 100% hopeless.
Lmfao! The Cop joke. Bruh, truth! She's fucking hilarious!
the guy who waved when she said a lot of cakes can't rise 😭 2:03
"A lot of anxious cake out there" 😂
This is actually so factual and full of things I wish I knew before I was 26 but it’s too late now
It's never too late. Don't be like her. She's a loser.
It's never to late to learn and adjust
It's really not babe but you need an attitude adjustment big time
26 is too late? Girl I'm pushing 30 and I know there is much beautiful and precious time ahead of me that I can use to better my life and situations
She killed it! Love the reactions in the crowd so much
that ending ended me 💀💀💀😹
Her homeless man joke was surprisingly good
This woman is hilarious, refreshing, and relatable. I hope she goes far!
😂😭 the relationship bit is so true. im 39. my longest serious relationship is a guy 12 years older than me, has 5 adult kids, makes obscene jokes, is terribly stubborn, and can't have intellectual conversations. but i mean... at least he's loyal 🤷♀️
Damn
Elder millennial here- agree whole heartedly
This is how Gen X singles feel, too. We’re still in our 40’s. Also, some of that Gen Z advice is fairly accurate in many ways. I don’t do dating apps, I’m cool being single, no kids , never married and we’ve survived as much as any millennial. Gen X aren’t old or anything like Boomers. We mostly throw a middle finger at most things. 🤷♀️
Gen X aren't only in their 40s. My dad is 56 and Gen x
I just made the gen x cutoff. All my siblings are boomers. But I am 100 percent gen x!
The oldest Gen X are from 1965. That makes you guys 58 at the oldest.
Also some of the oldest Millenials are already in their 40s.
You're not a millennial if you're that much younger than her lmao sorry
@@SarahSkinnyJeans You obviously don't know the birth year range for millennials. Anyone born 1981-1996/7 is a millennial. The person saying she is 5-6 years younger would mean she was born 1993 or 1994 making them a millennial.
@@Aleash89 lol 1981? Idk anyone born in the 80s who considers themselves a millennial. They all claim gen x but I guess whatever. I can be wrong if I'm wrong, I don't feel like arguing over it. So gotcha, noted. I am better informed now then
@@SarahSkinnyJeans Now you know one person born in the '80s who calls herself a millennial. Me. I was born in 1989. All this is one Goggle search away.
As gen x we would not have cheered when she asked about the “ older generations “. We would just sit there with a cynical damn look .
Yep. And you don't have to settle. Our generation said it too. I never did settle. Rockin my life at 53.
You middle children are so moody...
@@Just1Nora truth in that !
And the cynical look is because we're calculating the odds on whether we'll eventually get to the funny bit. (Note: If it happens, it's after 4:57.)
Millinisls used to be cute, somewhere in the early 90s. It's hard to hate a toddler. In the 90s I was in the Navy stationed half way around the world.
Gen X are the most sufficient group. We started taking care of ourselves at a young age.
I remember when 11 people applied for the same 2 job openings at McDonald's and they only hired 1, so they could "Do more with less."
I'm 54 and still single. I'm OK because I like my own company. I'm not against relationships, I'm jut not actively looking.
It's funny how she is complaining that Gen Z took over....some of GenX was forgotten 2 decades ago.
I'm old enough to have kids that's 35...she's still as nieve as she ever was.
I don't really think I'm all that old yet. You're not considered a senior until you're 65.
Lol I'm never settling. Rather be alone the rest of my life then be with someone I don't see myself being happy with.
So glad I found her, she's fun
I love this woman already
Idk what's up with the bunch of incels in the comments, but this fking was hilarious
Yeah I was like wtf 😳
People love to hate
@Clarity Sans Hubris I feel pretty annoyed with the comment section as well. People are attacking her gender and weight, calling them out is not hypocritical in my opinion.
@Clarity Sans Hubris Their point is don't be a sexist d*uchebag I believe. If you don't like her comedy, and you feel like you have to comment about it, cool. And it's permitted although IMO it's crossing lines when your goal is to be a bully. It's not attractive.
@Clarity Sans Hubris Victim mentality lol you take your side, I'm happy where I am. Lovely use of buzz words. Trying to take down "woke culture" I'm assuming? Too funny. You would rather be the white knight for abusive men...and that's fine, it's your hill to die on my friend. I find nothing wrong with standing up to bullies even if you need to take a swing for the greater good.
My new favorite comedian
This is absolutely hilarious and so on point! Especially about the dating 😂👏🏽
No matter how desperate or lonely, I don't think someone should settle unless that's what they want..
Lmao. no one is forcing anyone to settle. We could use some women's leadership to help balance things. And now that American women have learned our old jobs it really frees up the men to go help other parts of the world, spread our values, and combat China who is moving into these same locations. Thanks for stepping up to the plate American women!.
Exactly
This is why the US in so single now a days both genders believe they are entitled to the best for some reason
@@DonJDawsonwhat US values r those? Cuz if it's traditionalism or submissivness those r untrue stereotypes ab foreign women, they don't need u to save them ( i am foreign too) and they would rather have those "old Jobs" your female population Has got
If "don't let them know your next move" was a person 😂 That last part about the homeless guy was sooo random. I love it!
As a Gen Z (Zennial/Zillennial) currently dating a Millennial, this is hilarious lmao
Founding fathers joke sent me. Funny coz so TRUE 😅 great show.
I dated once for 3 years between 18 and 21. I haven't been with anyone in 10 years. I honestly don't feel like I am capable of dating anyone simply because I never learned how to flirt and I have personally felt dying alone is the most ethically acceptable way to pass on.
Sigh....please don't do that...while you're still young please try to put yourself out there.
@@SLUBUG I'm glad you decided to put some effort into understanding me. As a stranger on the internet it truly is impossible for mutual understanding unfortunately.
I have witnessed and experienced ample barbarity, cruelty, crass behavior, and death. The incoherent thrashing mess all of us inevitably dissolve into dissaudes me even further. If I'm still young then I shudder to know what qualifies otherwise.
Oh my god, are you attempting the driest sense of humor on the planet or you really clinically depressed? If B, seriously seek a mental health professional! If A, Poe’s law.
I get what you mean by ethically but for me friendship is actually really important, connecting with other people is a need we all have.
Me too
That last joke was so good 😆
This was hilarious! I want her to be my best friend, she seems like such a rad person. New lifelong fan! 🥰🥰
I am 38, a man, and not single but thought this was totally hilarious and something I could see a lot of women being able to relate too. Hope she gets a special
Love it! Thanks for the laughs!
I like her, she's very natural on stage, which can't be said for everyone. Her and Taylor Tomlinson are both up there
Wow, who is this hilarious lady???Strong person and brilliant comedian!
Ok, this was funnier than I expected 😂
3:57 that’s the cutest impotence joke I’ve ever heard 😭
Her outfit is SOOO GOODDD AAHH fashion queen💖
She is hilarious. 🤣 thank you for lifting our souls. 🥹
It's the little smile mid jokes that does it for me 😂
2:12 ... "Go to therapy, talk to your dad."
Um ... that's how our need for therapy got started.
That moment when reality hits millennials head on
As someone who is a Xennial (late GenX), I feel a lot like a Millenial when I hear her talk about these things...
Same. I definitely relate to millenials, because we've been screwed over so many times too! 🤦♀️
Same. I get the wanting nostalgia but we're well past the "work a summer job and pay for college year" level.
I've never thought of it, but im a Zennial (late millenial), and basically the same pronunciation. I wish the stuck to keeping us Gen Y, it made more sense to me.
From genZ, I think you’re hilarious and I love you
The last bit got me rolling!!! Hahahahahah
And I choked on water at the prison letters bit.
DYING! DEAD! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 Girl, I need to see as much of your comedy as possible! Because I WAS supposed to have a 401K!
she’s in LA! hope I can catch her set, she’s solid.
That burpees joke killed me 😂
Jen, I think you and Gary are the power couple the world needs right now 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This was so good!
The guy in the audience who absolutely lost it at the car detailing joke 😆
What a great crowd. Loved the front row especially. Great energy.
Solid bits, I like her delivery
This was hilarious. I’m surprised the audience wasn’t laughing harder! I feel like she is so underrated.
Ok, she’s hilarious, relatable and so accurate. I live in Los Angeles too. The struggle is real. Lol.
I love that she prefaced the homeless joke. Mad respect. Smart and Considerate.
"A lot of anxious cake out here. Go to therapy, cake. Talk to your dad." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Haha she's great! I just had a thought, that if somebody makes fun of you saying "the cake couldn't rise because it had a lot on its mind", you could just respond with "...I think the oven just wasn't hot enough". Although, I suspect it wouldn't make your partner laugh very much.
A fun counter to that would be “you didn’t turn the oven on to a high enough temperature and tried to put the cake in too early” 😂
She slayed!
YOOOOOO THIS WAS FIRE!!
Incredible set
I love people who use stand-up comedy as their therapy and place to vent, like I support it 100% and they never fail to make light of dark situations 😂
Such great delivery!! So on point, really enjoyed it!
The jelly bean remark made me laugh 😂
This was amazing! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 Also, I wonder where she got that shirt.
