Your voice is amazing with this song, its so much softer than Erik's yet still carries the same strength and beauty in it. This is what music should be, community and respect, playing eachothers songs and loving one another. Keep being amazing! And nice set!
I saw mischief brew 5 years ago with one of my best friends and I found your music a few weeks ago and I was so happy to find you had covered this song. I used to listen to bands like mischief brew, pat the bunny, and days and daze. Being 23 I had felt like I had lost a lot of perspectives that I had when I was younger do to corporate America beating it out of me. Hearing you make this music and covering this song, in particular, has brought me back in touch with these feelings and I can really express how much how to express how much that meant to me.
Sweet Star Wars tats! Nice cover, one of my fave Mischief Brew songs ever. Long live Eric’s music & may he Rest In Peace n he be one with the force! As for u...MTFBWY & MTFolkPunkBWY,A.😉🤘🎯
Just discovered you recently. You are an amazing guitar player and singer. Love that you did a cover of Mischief Brew. Keep doing your thing, you are a treasure. Much love from Buffalo. -Luke W.-
When father bought the farm, we sold the farm Mistook his blood for rustic charm Sold his ghost as an antique, to the city And kids today can’t hold a spade Rest in peace, ye olde weary trades In this world, there is no place, such a pity Well, the barman shakes his head and fills my glass Says we’re living in the past “Why preserve a dying craft? End its misery.” We sigh and say, “Another modern man One of property not land.” So I’ll hold out this battered hand Will you listen? Come sit down, we’re lamenting About yesterday’s sad ending About the water in me’ whiskey The brass passed off as gold Another round, we’re descending Into olde time mem’ry Of a day when wood was wooden Silver silver, gold was gold Sweet home was home So you say you got a wood stove in your second home Runs on gas but looks like oak Hell, it even gives off smoke and glowing embers There’s a quilt hung on the wall, reads “Home Sweet Home.” Below, some wise words from Thoreau And they call me a throwback when I cry, “Remember?” Come sit down, we’re lamenting About yesterday’s sad ending About the water in me’ whiskey The brass passed off as gold Another round, we’re descending Into olde time mem’ry Of a day when wood was wooden Silver silver, gold was gold Sweet home was home Son, these tools are artifacts Endangered species left its tracks So lock me up behind plastic glass in the city There’s no going back for me This antique’s rustic eulogy Shall be sold as folk artistry, such a pity But I’ll never understand Why they all long to use those hands To build a stead that will always stand in “olde tyme” country But settle for white rooms and hollow doors Paper ceilings, padded floors Luxury boxes where you’re stored in what was country Come sit down, we’re lamenting About yesterday’s sad ending About the water in me’ whiskey The brass passed off as gold Another round, we’re descending Into olde time mem’ry Of a day when wood was wooden Silver silver, gold was gold Sweet home was home Come sit down, we’re lamenting About yesterday’s sad ending About the water in me’ whiskey The brass passed off as gold Another round, we’re descending Into olde time mem’ry Of a day when wood was wooden Silver silver, gold was gold Sweet home was home
You’re very talented, this is an amazing cover. I feel connected to my fellowship, but there are some aspects of me that I feel are very unique, my taste in music that I can physically mentally and spiritually connect with seems to be a little different from home group members… you cover a lot of songs that really speak to me, keep them coming please.

Son, these tools are artifacts
Endangered species left its tracks
So lock me up behind plastic glass in the city
There’s no going back for me
This antique’s rustic eulogy
Shall be sold as folk artistry, such a pity
But I’ll never understand
Why they all long to use those hands
To build a stead that will always stand in “olde tyme” country
But settle for white rooms and hollow doors
Paper ceilings, padded floors
Luxury boxes where you’re stored in what was country
Come sit down, we’re lamenting
About yesterday’s sad ending
About the water in me’ whiskey
The brass passed off as gold
Another round, we’re descending
Into olde time mem’ry
Of a day when wood was wooden

Lovely :D
Where did you have the capo on your guitar for this? It was a little hard to see just where is was
I will always love you
Your voice sounds silky smooth tff
It only took 8296 listens for me to hear the birds in the back
Is this song easy to learn?

Damn. That was was just as good as the original! Nice to see there are women out there who like good music and not just shitty corporate pop.
Slow it down a tad, Get less bouncy with the chords. Get into it and feel it. It will sound so much better, Your amazing by the way
Prefer this over the original honestly
