Wow. Just wow. I feel the need to share this story: on Thanksgiving of 2017 my bf watched me overdose the morning after having surgery after losing our unborn baby. So yeah, I'm not gonna lie...I did a little too much out of sadness, out of pain, because I didn't want to feel. When I finally came back to life(3 narcan shots and 3 minutes of no heartbeat) he was traumatized. To deal with his feelings, he made me a beautiful playlist called "Thanks...for breathing" cuz it happened on Thanksgiving. Anyway it was the 1st time I heard this song and I cried and cried and now still cry for Erik & heartache and loneliness and death and endings. Sorry to rant, but this song is very powerful & special to me & hopefully lots of others as well :)
Been in your shoes. I'm a heroin addict and have overdosed a few times. I'm happy your still breathing. R.I.P. to my brother Mathew Miller. He died last year from a overdosed. Over 2,000 people have committed suicide by jumping off the golden gate bridge. 19 of those have survived. They all said the exact same thing. The millisecond after they jumped they instantly regretted there decision. Keep your head up:)

@@thematthatter673 I was a bit intoxicated and very depressed when I originally commented on this video. Erik was a good friend of mine, along with Dave Tedder, who's shirt he is wearing that was made for his funeral service. It's been years since they have passed away but it is still a very open wound. I apologize for coming off like an asshole.
@@thatpickingguy the man truly had a heart of gold. He always had so much energy and purely loved playing for his fans. He was always made time for everyone, was always there to talk. After the show, at the bar no matter where. One of the most humble people I have ever met in my life. I miss him everyday.
RIP Mango. You were such an awesome cat, and just as the song says, I wish when I found you on the highway that day you were on the side and still alive. I didn't wanna sleep that night, I thought I was in a horrid lucid nightmare, but no... It was all real. May we be reunited with all your brothers and sisters when the universe collapses in vacuum. REST IN POWER!
