Every time I watch Cilic I wonder why he loses so much. He has such great technique as a big man and hits the ball harder than anyone. He moves well and his serve is fantastic. The match is literally always on his racquet. I feel it has to be mental but that’s crazy to think about when he is as good as he is.

It would make sense that it’s mental, here cilic even had match points but missed his approach 😢

I think part of the problem is hitting too big. 64 winners but also 59 unforced errors. Hitting big all the time is risky. You can win 1 point via risky winner or if your opponent simply misses a shot. Winners feel great, but still only 1 point.

Percentages man. When you hit the ball this big and flat to such small targets it’s bound to create a bunch of unforced errors

I must admit i had never really watched CIlic play cause I though he was boring. But i have to say, even though this is not prime CIlic, now I understand why he won a slam. This inside out forehand is insanely good. It's funny by the way cause it looks like he's clearly dominating this match but ends up loosing it.
Love those court level view as well. It's not the same sport as what we see on TV.

I just don't understand why Tennis on TV isn't shown with this angle. It's so much better and waaaay more fun to watch!

It's mostly because they need to fill the 16x9 ratio of widescreen TV's while also allowing for the sponsors of the event to be shown around the court.

How did Cilic lose this match? He made Kecmanovic look like a club amateur.

Was Kecmanovic generally calm during the match? I would like to know how his game play is structured, since mine is of a similar style to his. Thank you!

Hello. My name is Lautaro. I was wondering if I could use some little parts of your video for a Serve guide video I'm making. I would give you the credit for the loan, of course. I'd use the parts where they are serving. Thank you very much
