You are very good! Thanks for your patience in explaining. Even l with little guitar practice can play it or almost.... have being watching and playing together - you are a great teacher! Hope you do give guitar lessons as you are very good ! Well done! :)
I used the same picking pattern that he uses for below my feet (because I've been playing Below My Feet a lot and it's hard to learn a new pattern) and it still sounds pretty close. (6+3, 6, 4,3) it's easier too if you're struggling with the picking pattern.
Hey, just learnt this from you now, great job :D just one thing when it goes to the last chord of the progression, the one on the second fret, i think it may be a pull of on both strings to lauch into the open?
But this isn't in the same tuning as The Cave, which is in Open D major (D-A-D-F#-A-D), and I Gave You All is in Open D MINOR (D-A-D-F-A-D), see the difference?
Weird.. When I play this my guitar doesn't sound like anything close to yours... but I know my tuning is accurate because I can play the cave and it sounds good.
Also, listening to the song i think he does the intro 3 times before going to the 10th and 11th frets :D sorry if i come off bitchy :) just trying to do my part :)
Hey man just wanted to say thanks! Seriously, I would not have been able to do this song without your help.
Still come back to this to refresh
😁
A great help! Very descriptive and fun. I love playing it! Thanks so much!

Not sure if you still use this channel but thank you for making this song easy so far. I made a cover on my channel for the intro 👍

That's a nice guitar mate. Is it YAMAHA? I can't be sure. Mine's not too different (similar floral fretboard).

The tuning is actually Open D Minor which means the 3rd string that would tuned to F# in Open D is tuned down to F for Open D Minor.
Great explanation...thank you!

Hi the guitar it tuned Starting from big e string D A D F A D.
Your strumming pattern is wrong, its 3rd and 6th string at the same time, then 4th, then 6th, then 3rd. That's the strumming pattern you follow
