Have tried watercolor painting a few times but given up. Your style & wonderful landscapes have given me the urge to try again and hopefully this time produce something that will keep me motivated & keen. It is a joy to watch you paint & it looks so easy but as I have found out before it takes skill & patience which I have in short supply. Thanks for kick starting me again 😁👍 Joe
Thank you so much for your comment Joe. It makes me so very happy that my art inspires you to get back to watercolours. Watercolours can seem rather hard to control, but they are so much fun, and I found that when I let go of trying to control them is when I am finally feeling like I am actually getting the results I like! Enjoy - they are such a playful, free-spirited medium. Remember that they want to flow freely :)
Of all the amazing watercolorists on youtube, your style speaks the most to me and really inspires me on what direction to take. You teach me that less truly is more in this medium. Thank you for showing your processes! You deserve so many more subs than 288.
Thank you so much for your kind words, they mean a lot. Comments like yours confirm it was a good decision to start this channel. I did it a few weeks ago only so I am hoping my audience grows with time :)
@@AnastasiaMily And so it did!! 21k+ in 1 year! Well deserved!
@@brasilecoms6297 thank you so much 😊 It means a lot!

Anastasia you are incredibly talented! I can't stop watching you paint, it's mesmerizing and the final product is always breathtaking! Thank you!
This is so very kind of you! Thank you for watching and for your lovely comment 😊
Absolutely beautiful 🤩 thank you so much for sharing
Thank you for watching and for your kind words 😊
Gorgeous 😍😍😍
Thank you so much
I really like the effect of the bottom left. The splatters, lines, and soft wash with those granulating pigments is so unique and lively! Thank you for sharing your process!
Thank you so much for watching! It is so much fun to play with splatters in watercolour - they reflect the nature of the medium so well
I just watched this amazing video of you painting this beautiful landscape. I’m now subscribed! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for being here, and for your kind words about my art 😊

Thanks for watching!
Beautiful ❤just wanted to know which colors you used
Thank you! The colours here were Transparent Red Oxide and Sodalite Genuine. You can see the full list of materials in the description of my videos 😊
Your control of water is AMAZING! I love the colours you use and your loose simple abstract style. It makes me want to have a go even though I am not very good at painting. Please keep sharing 🌸
Thank you so much! So glad this video is inspiring you to pick up your brushes - have fun!
Astonishing! Brilliant technique.
Thank you so much Priscilla 😊
Lovely❤️
Thank you so much!
Nagyon tetszik nekem is, sokat tanulok belőle...❤
Thank you for watching! Glad you find this video useful on your watercolour journey 😊
This is my new fav youtube channel
Thank you so much 😊 Glad you are enjoying my videos!
I was afraid and stuck thinking about landscapes. Found your videos and I am working on my third version of this ... after I did four versions of the first video. Now, I am shocked at my progress and confidence. Wishing you sincere blessings and thank you.
Your comment makes me so happy! Glad your confidence is growing - it certainly makes things easier. Thank you for watching 😊
This was totally FUN!!. I didn't have the transparent red so I tried Burnt Sienna and Quin Sienna. I think the Burnt Sienna worked best. And the Quin Sienna added a nice touch to the trees. Thank you. I love Sodalite Gen. and that family of paints.
Oh I am so glad you had fun! Burnt Sienna and Q.Sienna sound like an amazing choice to go for here 🧡 I know they would look totally amazing with Sodalite! Thank you for watching 😊
Lovely, I believe this will be my first try with your demos. Two colors will lead me more gently into this method
d. I have told an acquaintance about
Thank you. Hope you enjoyed painting this scene ✨
Wow! Vous avez un réel talent, de la spontanéité, la rapidité dans vos actions et de l'intuition. Très grande imagination. C'est tout simplement incroyable ce que vous faites. Bravo, merci et bonne continuation. ✌👍✍🙏
Thank you for watching, and for such a kind and thoughtful comment, I really appreciate it!
This is so gorgeous, and your fine motor skills are to die for. Speaking as someone who only makes it through doors without walking into them maybe 70% of the time.
Thank you for watching 😊 I guess it gets easier with lots of practice 😁 I still do walk into doors on a regular basis though, so you are not alone!
I’m so glad I found your channel. I painted along when you were on Etchrstudio channel. I guess they took the video down. I would like to watch it again.
Thank you for being here, and I am glad you are enjoying my videos! Etchr did take that live demo down. It is currently available via their FB page but the video is pretty pixelated.. facebook.com/EtchrStudio/videos/431120418737417/
So beautiful!
Thank you so much Ana!
Gorgeous - that is the word that springs to my mind seeing the painting. Simplicity is another one.
I also saw you using a brush for painting the stem & branches of trees, which I have never seen any other artist use before. Which is it ?
Thank you so much! That brush is a needlepoint brush, NEEF Alvaro Castagnet size 6. It is very useful for creating fine details but still staying loose
Could you give me the name of the dryer used
It's just a very old travel hair dryer by Breville...
Another outstanding video. I am so glad I discovered your channel. Your videos are beyond excellent.
Thank you for being here and for your kind words, I really appreciate them
Beautiful! DS Transparent Red Oxide is such a great paint. One of my favs.
Thank you! It is such a beautiful colour! Amazing on its own and in mixes too.
I'm officially in love with your style of painting! ❤️ A new subscriber here ☺️
Thank you so much, and welcome 😊
Interesting piece. I love the layout and the complete simplicity. To get such a beautiful result with such restraint on material is a testamnt to your obvious talent!
Thank you for sharing this!
Thank you for watching, and for your kind words! One of the countless reasons watercolour is such a magical medium is that can say so much with just a couple of colours...
That was mesmerising to watch!
Thank you Amanda! Glad you enjoyed watching my process 😊
The white horizontal space (maybe water) is quite unique, it makes the rest stands out much better. Nice.
Thank you so much. I am thinking it may be water too! such sharp horizon lines are great for creating contrast :)
It was wonderful to see your process Anastasia! I've only just discovered your account here, so looking forward to seeing more and trying out some practice!
Thank you so much Robyn. Glad you are enjoying my videos here 😊 Happy painting!
After watching this again, I was wondering if you have online classes, or would contemplate doing Patreon. I would be first in line 👍😀
Thank you for your kind words Julie! I am not on Patreon at this stage, but I have taught a number of classes via Etchr which are now available to purchase as a recording here learn.etchrstudio.com/authors/author-7z8-dswwBtk. You can purchase just one class, or there is a yearly subscription option that gives you access to all the content taught by people from all over the world via Etchr. You can preview my classes there too. Hope it helps!
@@AnastasiaMily thank you I will have a look. ❤️
Wow!
soooo beautiful
I want to try this
Thank you sooo much
Thank you for watching 😊 Have fun!!!
Не видела ничего подобного....это восхитительно!!!...магия!!!!
Thank you so much!
So beautiful. What your ratio of paint to water - as a perpetual beginner I am a bit hit and miss with this!
!
Thank you Pamela! The ratio of paint to water changes constantly and is very hard to describe exactly as it depends on the actual paint colour I am using. But generally I use the paint mixed to a consistency of cream (just like the cream used for whipping) to paint darker areas, the consistency of milk to paint midtones, and a very watery mix for the lighter areas. It certainly comes with experience so just keep on painting! :)
@@AnastasiaMily Thank you Anastasia, this is actually very helpful.
Bluffant... contagieux... thanks for sharing...chapeau bas...
Thank you for watching!
Love all your work! Q: how does your needle brush handle different then a rigger?
Thank you
Thank you so much Jeanna! The needle point and the dagger have a different shape. I use needle point for more detailed work, and my dagger for loose and irregular brushstrokes
@@AnastasiaMily Thanks so much ! Thank makes perfect sense.
Hi Anastasia ,Love your work .Are you on Pateron ?
Thank you so much for your kind words Claire. I am not on Patreon at this stage, but I am looking into it.
I hope you will do many more demos and lots of tutorials!
Glad you are enjoying my videos 😊 Thank you for watching. I certainly will keep on doing these demos!

Mega schön .🍀Wie heißt denn der ganz dünne , feine Pinsel 🖌️?
