I'm a senior SDR who hit 100% in March with 400k in pipeline and can personally attest to everything Trent says in this video. Adding 10-15 fresh leads in sequence a day, shooting for 250-300 active leads, keeping on-time with cadence steps, and not focusing too much on what you say but *how* you say It and *how often*. Everyday is an improvement over the last.
I'm selling heavy equipment and commercial-size air compressors and power generators to large construction companies and other facilities. I'm looking all over to build a good script, and this helped.
1:10 filling the sequence 7:15 general question 7:45 Why you call 8:20 scheduling a meeting 11:00 “not a time” - not ok. Push back 12:00 two outcomes 13:10
I feel like this script works better for Qualtrics/HR software because you can easily throw out dictionary terms that the persona cares about like employee engagement. But if you offer a product that helps with staff communicate with each other, it might be better to focus on HOW it improves staff communication - technically speaking. Would love to hear what you and other people think.
Great video Trent but you were about to go into the object I get the MOST 😣 "I already have a solution/vendo/etc" how do you normally overcome that? It's been tough getting through it to find a pain point and get them to book an appt. Even thought I do believe my product really stands out the most. A lot of time they will said I already have a vendor/solution and it's complicated to put another one in place. Can you either do a video with this objection specifically or more info overcoming objections including this one. Thanks a lot and I appreciate your videos in the SDR/Tech sales - very informative 🙌
When you ask for the meeting, are you setting up a phone call or an in person sales call? If it’s a phone call, is it just a voice call or do you do a zoom or gotomeeting type of call?
Third day as a SaaS sdr got three scheduled meetings thus far but have been getting a lot of “send me an email”. It’s hard to keep the convo going after hearing this objection because they usually make something up(in a meeting/busy) or simply hang up. We use an autodialer and it’s very easy to just hang up and try other prospects. However, this video opened my eyes to pressure more!! Thanks for the gems
Great content brother. But I am working as a SDR in a saas company and we sell Magento e-commerce services. How we can generate quality leads to call. Pls suggest me some good websites to get quality leads to call
Do I need a college degree to enter the field? I’m a real estate agent and investor…as of now. Would love to try something new. I never went to college went straight into real estate 🏡
Trent, i am not allowed to set up appointment with my prospect as now i am in a lower level in my company/ but i do need to make cold calls daily and i use auto dialer lot of calls just to ask them for the email consent means i just need to ask for sending an email and follow up with the partners. any suggestion like call structure or script or anything that you can suggest me. thanks from your loyal follower

It's decent that he's putting content out there but most of his stuff is sub par. You can't call someone up and start talking to them about your company and what you do. No one cares
The harder it is to reach your prospect, the more qualified they are to buy!

Hi Trent, thanks for this. I'm sharing it with my team. Quick check, does this script in principle, work for cold emails to C-level executives? Eg,
much better for calling than emailing
@@TrentDressel thanks Trent. Do you mind doing a video on email sequences as well? Targeting C-level executives

I am looking for multiple cold calling accountability partners. I want to schedule zooms and alternate calling your list and mine and giving feedback.

I have to ask, do you watch Alex hormozi?
yes I am fan
You don’t do any discovery questions ?
The purpose is to set the meeting, not do discovery

Before saying the reason im calling, is it ok to ask if im speaking to the person who handles xyz? Sometimes its hard to find decision maker.
never do so as it indicates you are unprepared
