I really wonder about China's ability in warfare. Have they built all of their boats and planes in the same way they've built their houses? I mean, is it all just meant to LOOK real, but actually it's cardboard surrounded by concrete that's crumbling from within?

This is, perhaps, a more likely scenario than seems possible. As Russia spends a generation of its increasingly smaller pool of young people and massive amounts of equipment in Ukraine, the Russian Far east is denuded of experienced defense forces. at some point, the Peoples republic of China will make a move to reclaim asian territories stolen by the Russian Empire. The Sino-Soviet (Russian) border conflict of 1969 was the result of one such long standing territorial dispute.
No no. It will be really difficult for the Chinese to defend their billion dollar ships in real life. Cheap drones,Lightweight torpedoes,UUV's etc will rip it apart.
Everything you mentioned have a range of less than 100km. The torpedoes even less. The missiles these large capital ships have have ranges of several hundred Kms to thousands of Kms.... And the 055 has one of the best sensor suits in the world today. How on earth are you going to get close to them alive to fire your shots? The times Ukraine succeeded against Russian ships were all situations in which the Russians either never expected attacks or when ships were docked at port (i.e. not on duty). It was more of a indication of Russian negligence than capability of these systems. They should be seen as sabotage missions than naval combat. Even if you by miracle got within range to launch your suicide drones, do you think the CIWS which are designed to shoot down missiles flying at supersonic speeds will have any issues dealing with the slow moving drones?
@@tonglianheng Not true. 1. RUSSIAN nuclear powered torpedoes can circle the globe. 2. How many missiles can these Capital ships carry?. A land based unit can cary a hundred times that number. 3. Sensor suites are active and passive. Active sensors invite the enemy. 4. The newest UAV's UUV's and Surface drones have hundreds of kilometers of autonomous range. 5. A late 2000 glide bomb has a range of around 150 kms. Imagine that weapon carrying a cluster of Submunitions dispersed well before an intercept by a sea based HQ9 or HQ16 system. 5. The purpose of the 055 054A 052C 052D is to ensure a Zero Sum Game. It ensures China's adversaries are either sunk or left with heavy bleeding so that it prevents the enemy from ever attempting a misadventure. China knows it cannot always emerge a Victor.

Any military would lie about their equipment and weapons, especially at time before conflict.
And only real combat shows all the truth - like hopeless, burning Leopards, Challengers, Strikers and Bradleys at the real battlefield.

navy vessels in dcs are selectable or just a addon dlc type?

Hi I am a Chinese YJ-18
And Hi I am a Russian P-800
Wait...
Why are we going in opposite direction?
I really wonder about China's ability in warfare. Have they built all of their boats and planes in the same way they've built their houses? I mean, is it all just meant to LOOK real, but actually it's cardboard surrounded by concrete that's crumbling from within?
china is the world's largest commercial shipbuilder, if their ships were bad everyone would know about it by now.
@@hughmungus2760 Are you comparing a shipping vessel to a war vessel? That's like comparing a tee-shirt and bathing suit to a business suit, briefcase and cell phone.
@@yeeeehaaawbuddy they're both built in the same shipyards by the same companies.
The level of worksmanship carries across.
Plus its more relevant than comparing warships to apartment buildings.
Judging from the proportion of China's construction manufacturing volume and problems, China's construction quality is also very high, even the best in the world.
@@hughmungus2760 Warships what matter far more is the systems fitted to the hull. And for that we have no way to judge how good or bad they are.
Does anyone know if these makes work in the steam version thanks for the vid
Not a single of thsse 22160 was sunk in real life, they are actually doing great and they protected against all attacks. Ukraine claims to have damaged Sergey Kotov ship, but their claims without proof are as sure as their claim of taking out the admiral.
Can you make models of Taiwanese navy fleet ships? I really want to see how Taiwan's navy fares against one Type 055.
Lol Taiwan ‘s KIDD class would be flattened and last about 4 seconds

🤭🤭🤭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣
24:40, i hate when there is such stupid combo, what the hell these patrol boats are doing here, everyone know type 055 has way more missiles than any small frigate but still you doing a 2v2, why
at least you could have taken 1 055 instead of 2 or could have increase the number of frigates to 4.
edit> 26:00
you got a second chance to correct this or make the battle somewhat even but you still :(
28:18, 055 has so many defensive missiles there is no way few onix can get through specially when they can see them from soo far away, they got all the time, enough defensive missiles and seems like infinite radar coverage.
The Sino-Soviet (Russian) border conflict of 1969 was the result of one such long standing territorial dispute.
who won?
Team 055 won
@@Chickenworm9394 thx
No no. It will be really difficult for the Chinese to defend their billion dollar ships in real life. Cheap drones,Lightweight torpedoes,UUV's etc will rip it apart.
So you're basically saying Iran can easily rip any US fleet apart.
@@robertlee6529 Iran and USA, not happening? Clean USA Victory
