What I like about this build is that it implies that while some monsters in this universe are big mutated versions of common creatures, others are just surviving megafauna left over from the ice age, which adds another layer to the lore of the Wild Imaginary West
You need to begin making short stories with these model ideas of yours. I loved the star wars but as you do more of these hunter-western I'm waiting for the backstory of theses.
I would definitely watch a video where you read a story from this world while showing footage of the dioramas. Perhaps there are some patrons or UA-cam fans that are authors if you don’t have time for the writing yourself.
I fully expect to be sitting in a theater one day, bag of popcorn in hand, watching a full length movie inspired by your world…probably starring Chris Pratt. As usual…I love everything about this build!
Felis Titanus, otherwise known as the Great Mountain Lion, Sabre Toothed Cougar, or even Dire Cat is a large quadropedial mammal of the cat family. Distantly related to the normal Pumas of North America, the reason for these creatures' massive size compared to their kin is unknown. They are prized for their pelts and ivory, while the incredibly lean (albeit gamey) meat is often used in the making of jerky, pemmican, or other "commoners foods".
I actually love how far you can go. All of them look amazing. And the details in all of them and this one. I mean so freaking amazing. Keeping doing this making a lot of people happy.
3:04 "... to try and be as realistic as possible." 😸😸😸 The idea of using something as massive and unwieldy as a cannon makes a certain amount of sense, give the scale of the local fauna. 6:20 I was giggling hard as the table filled up with packages. Thanks for another wonderfully relaxing video and a look at a very cool diorama coming to life.
Man oh man, Boylei. My son loves your videos. He is six and we were literally working on his first project the past 2 weeks, a mountain lion coming out of a cave! We were surprised you beat us to the punch! He wants to build in your universe theme and so we bought some stuff here in Japan. No mod podge, no XPS, and no Western figures to be found in Japan! We are doing our best through internet and some WWII resistance fighters (plain clothes) miniatures. We'll let you know when we post his first video showing his wildcat and cave!
I'm partial to calling the big 4 legged ones an Elly short for elephant, the old west loved to give vehicles and modes of transport feminine names and seeing the inspiration you draw from that time period thought it could work
Holy cow, that's a lot of foliage in that gift package! Love this one... the saber-toothed mountain lion is just an excellent idea for the Imaginary Wild West!
Oh man... SO STUNNING and IMAGINATIVE! And your work is so neat and crisp! I like everything about this, from the design all the way down to the excellent use of black for a fantastic cutaway/slice (I can't think of the right word.) look. Bonus: I feel more relaxed now, thanks to the very pleasant narration. Top-shelf, all the way.
This diorama is a stroke of Flippin genius! Combining an obviously "centuries-old" muzzle loading cannon mounted on a totally futuristic "piper" walker (George Lucas take note), and a small arms handgun against a futuristic sabertooth Tiger (Colorado mountain lion). A diorama like this could only have been thought up by a true artist! Fantastic job! The only thing missing was a barrel of powder and a muzzle ramrod! Thank you Boylei!
So much amazing detail in the work and yet, I can't help but feel that the most important thing in many of these models IS the vegetation. Like, it's crazy to me to see just how much BETTER it looks with some plant life.
I love this world you've created, would love for it to be turned into a show like the Mandalorian. A simple mech operator trying to make his way through the universe.
Awesome work as always, I love seeing all the shapes and sizes of mechs. Perhaps you could call the larger 4 legged ones Shires or Drafts after large workhorses.
I can’t believe that started as an engine block. What a great talent and imagination. Every addition to this collection is stunning. Thanks for taking the time to share it.
I’ve become addicted to these videos . So therapeutic and satisfying to watch them all come together at the end. Such a talent. Are we ever going to get to see how and where you display the, all together?
I've said this to Jason Jensen Trains, too, but I have to repeat it here. Your videos are like a therapy session for me, and re-kindle my own creativity. Your work is always inspirational.
This is honestly my favorite thing on UA-cam right now. I love the world building. I would love a game based on this world. Basically the Witcher meets Red Dead Redemption. Wild West with monsters, monster hunters, and lore.
I’ve been binging all of your videos for the past couple days and I am in awe!!! So well designed and executed BEAUTIFULLY. You deserve all the love coming your way.
Your work is incredible! I would love to see a larger diorama like this with lots of things going on all over the cliff. Lots of characters and action. Love this stuff
LOL I don't know how many videos I've watched on this channel but today I actually realized that the intro spelled out "Boylei" with various bits. Can't believe I never saw that before. I really like the way you kit bash and how you use parts to make something "realistic". That sabre-toothed kitty is in for a whole lotta pain! Cheers!
I would love to see your take on some more cryptid-like monsters! Going a little further with their appearance to help sell that these things aren't just big animals. A wendigo, flatwoods monster, hopkinsville goblin swarm, Oklahoma octopus, or moth-man would all be really interesting as grotesque and scary creatures! Love the weird-wild-west! Can't wait to see more!
I would love to see some of these pieces start to be combined into a larger layout/assortment to see their interconnections. These are awesome keep it up!
Another great job!! Thanks for the link to the diorama supplier, will come in handy!! Love this world you have created, you inspire me every video!! Well done!!!
The way you just threw that "Sandpiper" together from a bunch of parts-box leftovers like you were working with a complete kit is truly remarkable! Just to be sociable, I'll take your word that that horse is just 'resting.' But I couldn't help but notice that it had a saddle. What happened to the rider it was carrying . . . ? Thanks for posting this! I'm looking forward to more of your projects!
I always come to your channel when I'm lacking on inspiration even when I'm all caught up I'll scroll back and find something interesting to watch again
this is the only channel i have notifications turned on for because every time i see a new addition to the Wild Imaginary West i have to stop everything i'm doing to see. I showed my 10 year old sister some of your videos because she likes making things and she wants to scratch bash and make dioramas because of you. Please never stop!
I love your work. It's so cool. I love weird west stuff. Adding mechs just make it even cooler. Also, if the small 4 legs are Mules, how about Ox-class for the larger?
Ok, I'm just gonna say it. As an aspiring videogame maker this concept is so dang cool, the aesthetic, the world, it's all amazing with so little to go off. I could imagine a game where you build up your MULE (Massive {or Mechanical} Universal Living Engine) at camp with the boys and then stalk off into a procedurally generated world to find new things and hunt new monsters to set up new camps and make bigger MULE's. PIPER (Personal Investigative Powered Engine Rover)
I am SO loving these dioramas, and when viewing the "glamor shots", even though I am a robot, (and thus, lack lungs), I find myself holding my breath in anticipation as to what events are about to unfold. SO good!
Happened to find your channel randomly and I'm obsessed!! You're so creative and I absolutely love your videos. I've been binge watching for 2 days now. 😂
This Weird West project is so cool! I'd hope to see a movie based on these little moments, but it would probably not be as awesome as these miniatures. :)
I think it would be a cool idea if we could maybe get a tour of your work space as well as see all your models in one place! Loved the video very relaxing and entertaining. Keep up the great work!
Your skill , imagination and attention to detail is admirable, keep it up please 🙏🏻 Use of model kit parts is brilliant, mirroring what the Gerry Anderson team used to do back in the days of Thunderbirds etc 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✊🏻
Amazing build and diorama with your usual high level of detailed precision. Everything from the mech to the saber-toothed mountain cat, the foliage to the extremely well detialed landscape is nothing short of phenomenal!! I think that driver will need something larger than just a pistol for that cat. I was surprised though that you did not include some way for the driver sitting up front to drive the Piper. A steering wheel and/or several levers would fit right in with the look of the mech. Also, a guard rail across the front would be a nice safety touch I think. As for the larger 4-legged mechs, I still like the term Stalkers. Awesome work as usual, I am continuously inspired by your stupendous skills and talent sir! Keep on keeping on!!
This universe of yours is always interesting to see being shaped, also thanks for that shoutout to dioramapresepe, being italian myself I often can't buy from sellers based in other nations due to how steep shipping prices are, so that is really helpful to know.
It’s really funny how often the diorama you guys make with sand looks so natural and ready to go right off the bat but y’all prime it anyways Not a gripe, I think it’s funny. Good to have everything as consistent as possible I suppose
I love you’re stories so much! They flesh the builds out so much and add lore to the pieces, all the western builds with futuristic elements are amazing and make me picture a Wild West with treasure planet aesthetics and technology’s that are space age and steam punk at the same time, would love a video game with your ideas!
I'd love to see you and the other arts and craft channels tackle the 'Shadow of the Colossus' colossi! I think it'd be interesting to see how everyone builds their colossi of choice in their own way! I really love how all the parts of this series are coming together, it truly makes you want to wander these lands.. Can't wait to see what you make next, Boylei!
I love this little world you’ve created! Please write a novel or start adding a storyline to your next videos on these sculptures because you are so creative and I’m just so immersed into this world
What I like about this build is that it implies that while some monsters in this universe are big mutated versions of common creatures, others are just surviving megafauna left over from the ice age, which adds another layer to the lore of the Wild Imaginary West

The dioramas tell their own stories
Yas

Yooo facts lol🔥
Agreed

Nice! Although I would have gone with _Puma_ titanus
Bro is 3 different species at the same time.
Would have been more likely named _Smilodon titanus,_ an evolution of the extinct, smaller _S. fatalis_ that once prowled the American continent .
I like this. I must also point out that they do not have ivory. Teeth are not ivory.
@@Gardeningforagingmusic311 dude, ivory is _literally_ big teeth
Excellent. Love the addition of the "prey" in that horse.
I actually love how far you can go. All of them look amazing. And the details in all of them and this one. I mean so freaking amazing. Keeping doing this making a lot of people happy.

Thanks for another wonderfully relaxing video and a look at a very cool diorama coming to life.
The level of detail is amazing! It is extremely satisfying! Excellent work my friend 💪🔥
The horse is an inspired touch! You can read the story in that detail - someone went missing, and this Piper crew was sent to handle the situation.
Man oh man, Boylei. My son loves your videos. He is six and we were literally working on his first project the past 2 weeks, a mountain lion coming out of a cave! Large 4 legged kind mechs should be called Striders, or Stryders if you want to be really hip
I'm partial to calling the big 4 legged ones an Elly short for elephant, the old west loved to give vehicles and modes of transport feminine names and seeing the inspiration you draw from that time period thought it could work
@@astront2979 I like the idea of Elks
Nah striders are more of a 2 or 3 leg walker
How about Moose for the large ones?
@@Wehrnobyl nah 4 leg fully robotic
Nothing gets my blood pumping more than your western-punk monster hunters! As usual you're doing an awesome job!
Suuuure….the horse is just ‘resting’ 😂
Man I love these Imaginary Wild West builds 😍
THE DETAIL IS STUNNING, CRAFTMANSHIP IS EXCELLENT! I MUST SEE MORE OF HIS WORK!
Holy cow, that's a lot of foliage in that gift package! Love this one... the saber-toothed mountain lion is just an excellent idea for the Imaginary Wild West!
your a fantastic story teller...and that is exactly what your artwork does...nice job.
Beautiful! Absolutely stunning! Would love to see cowboys protecting an old Chuck wagon from monsters❤️
I absolutely love this western series, it gets better and better! Maybe you could call the tall four legged mechs mooses
Oh man... SO STUNNING and IMAGINATIVE!
And your work is so neat and crisp! I like everything about this, from the design all the way down to the excellent use of black for a fantastic cutaway/slice (I can't think of the right word.) look.

Crafsman! Wooo!
Your my favorite
I would love to see your take on the Western Mech theme.
That’s too kind of you, Crafsman. Thank you!

The dowager is amazing in its own right but the composition of this diorama is one of my favorites so far!
You're one of the major reasons I started dabbling in diorama building. Thanks, and keep up the excellent work. Loving the Mecha West stuff.
these wild imaginary west dioramas keep getting cooler. Keep up the good work.
I love the way the light hits this model, especially the cat and the rock he’s standing on.
The foliage really made this piece pop! I also liked that the horse was just "resting".
So much amazing detail in the work and yet, I can't help but feel that the most important thing in many of these models IS the vegetation. Like, it's crazy to me to see just how much BETTER it looks with some plant life.

Woah, top notch foliage there, what a care package! And I love the Piper class of mechs! Looking forward to seeing more of these.
Awesome work as always, I love seeing all the shapes and sizes of mechs. Perhaps you could call the larger 4 legged ones Shires or Drafts after large workhorses.
Beautiful diorama. Your alternative western universe keep steadily growing and every single bit looks amazing. Keep them coming.
Dude you're so good at crafting! Your soft country background music has lead me to listen to more! Plus you narration is so relaxing man.😁👍
Another cool diorama. So far my favorites are the giant gator, the giant snapping turtle, the gold mine spider and the wendigo.
🤩 you have achieved a level of crisp beauty in your work that leaves me breathless!
Aweseom as usally! Pretty nice to see you turn littel things into such fantastic Dioramas!
I love your dioramas so much, I’m excited to see (whenever it’s finished) your entire Wild Western world😍👍🏽
6:54 i'm a huge fan of monster theme, diorama, and this one, it's amazingggggg, thanks for sharing !
If your dioramas ever inspire skirmish level miniatures ruleset, i'm in. Great work!!
I can't fully express just how much I love this series!! I can happily watch these forever ❤
So creative making the Piper....Great story telling and results....
Please make a tour of your western world video where you go through your dioramas! I’d love to see them all together!
Love how you combine the wood and plastic. This looks like one of your fun and best builds. I like the dead horse under the tiger. I call this good!
he is just resting, how could he possibly be dead
Dude... that piece of art is rad! Loved it. The whole Alternative Wild West series is amazing! Kudos, man!!
So well done. The effort you put into this is stunning and it pays off so much
Love this and keep doing what you’re doing
These builds are fantastic! And the backstories and world being created don't get any cooler than this.
Ah the best part of Sunday is these videos. Another amazing addition to the Wild Imaginary West. The cat looks great but the mech is just perfection.
I can’t believe that started as an engine block. What a great talent and imagination. Every addition to this collection is stunning. Thanks for taking the time to share it.
Love this one! I really like the sci fi Wild West, it really is inspirational.
The foliage took this to the next level. inspiring as always!
