Afterburn is the Bolliger & Mabillard inverted coaster at Carowinds. This attraction originally opened during the Paramount ownership as Top Gun- the Jet Coaster, but it was renamed Afterburn after Cedar Fair purchased the park. This is one of the best paced inverts with the lack of a brake-run and 6 forceful inversions.
