Glad you got this! As cool as the Lion Knights' Castle is, I like this one a bit more. Possibly because the Forestmen were my favorite faction when I was a kid, but more likely it's because I dig the combination of older sets and the weathered look.
I got mine through the migraine-inducing method of buying all the pieces brick-by-brick, making some color substitutions here and there, and stocking up on the newly printed forestmen bodies and shields. I'm never going to build anything this large in that method again, but I'm glad I did it for this set because the castle is fantastic.

I got back into Lego with the new Blacksmith. I love it so much, I bought a second set and double sized it! Getting ready to order the BDP mountain castle next Wednesday, after myself missing Castle in the Forest. Seeing the price of old Dark Forest sets got me thinking how I could use Bricklink parts and new sets for builds, so I turned the Ideas Treehouse into a Forestmen HQ and put it on 4 plate MILS. I've also built the Black Falcon Knights Castle by "Made With Brix" and brought it to convention. I am currently building a base level on a MILS plate that both halves of the castle can be attached to. Recently built a 2x size Majisto Workshop.
