Use the train - the regional train tickets (Bayernticket) allows unlimited travel throughout Bavaria in all trains except inter city express trains at amazingly low cost after 9.00 am. Up to 5 people travel on one ticket (a small supplement applies for the 3rd, 4th and 5th person) so it is great for trips to Nurnberg, Regensburg, Passau, Augsburg, the Alpine resorts, Lindau, Neuschwanstein, and even Salzburg. The ticket is valid until 3.00 am the following day.
thank you for this very informative and picturesque tour of my city. You have a very charming way to show people around. I enjoyed watching so much so I'll share this video with dear friends in Scotland and England.best wishes and safe travels to you, servus from Bavaria
...Without a doubt the "Dachau concentration camp" is a place to visit and reflect...
Just a minor correction. The English garden is the biggest city park in the World. Its main attractions are the creeks. Where you can swim, climb a little waterfall and surf. They even made a movie about the wave, where people do surf 365 days a Year.
one very nice place u unfortunately missed the Müller'sches Volksbad.
A tip for tourists from a person that lives in munich: we have a castle in the city called Schloss Nymphenburg. It is not in the city center but it's beautiful to watch and has a beautiful park too.
Another thing: we have great museums. For example the old Pinakothek where you can see old art from Goya, Albrecht Dürer, a da Vinci and morr
Thanks for sharing that tip!
plus the "botanischer Garten" next to it. If you enjoy a lush, relaxed nature/garden scenery.
@@samuelandaudrey that city is also the founder of the Walt Disney company Germany
Its the nymphenburg palace, its not a castle.
As an American living in munich for 18 years, this video made me happy. I know every brick, stone and blade of grass you showed in your video :)
Thank you very much! That really means a lot to us coming from someone who has spent 18 years in the city. Would there be any suggestions if we came back to make another videos in the future?
From South Africa and wanting to move to Munich

MUNICH IS A WONDERFUL CITY AND ITS PEOPLE IS VERY KIND AND POLITE.
My Mom was from Munich. I’ve been there numerous times in my life starting at 6months old. Now my daughter and I travel there all the time, We are heading there in February to see my relatives ❤ 🇩🇪
I’ve been living in Munich for 35+ years and even led sightseeing tours. You guys really did a great job picking up on Munich’s flair and best sights! I forwarded it on to my brother and his wife who are coming post-Covid to visit.

I stayed in Munich for three months in 1995 or so. I visited almost all museums except Deutsches museum. It is a great city and very livable city. I am remembering my memories.
I lived there for almost 6 years, the best thing to me was the walk a along the Isar to der englische garten in the summer, followed by white Christmas atmosphere and then October fest
I really didn't plan on spending a half hour of my life watching this video... But it was almost like I was reliving when I visited there thank you!
I know Munich really well and this is an excellent video in all respects. Congratulations on a first class piece of work.
Thank you very much John! We really appreciate hearing that.
Thanks so much! I’m watching several videos on Germany to kinda get a feel for where I was told my great-grandfather came from. It’s nice to get some positive reviews and such beautiful scenery. I really loved the churches, museums and parks!
I would also recommend castle Nymphenburg, Olympic park and gallery Alte Pinakothek.
Some great tips there - all of those are worth visiting
So happy to see you cover Munich in your travel vlogs! 😊 Visiting Munich has been on my list for a while and I absolutely love watching your series on the food 🥨 🍺 and culture 🖼 🏰 ! Well done, Sam & Audrey - I look forward to the next video 👏🏽
Thanks for watching! We hope you'll get to tick Munich off your travel list soon!!
Thank you! I really loved this video of my birthplace and forever hometown, although I live on Maui since about 30 years. But I am back once a year, for high school reunion. And maybe soon for good. Maybe just for the summer months.
Hi Audrey and Sam!
Great video 👏🏻👍🏻👌🏻
Thank you for taking us along!
Fabulous video. So well researched, fabulous food and drink sections. I have loved Munich for years, but you have added a further dimension for me. Thank you.😃😃😃💗💗💗
Really enjoyed your awesome presentation of the places you've visited in Munich that we missed. My husband and I went to Munich in Sept. 2017 but barely scratched the surface as we were limited to the only transport we knew at that time, the HOHO City Tour Bus and S & U Bahn . If we would be fortunate enough to visit again, purchasing a City Pass is the best way to go around. Thank you for sharing your fun experience of Munich.
6:22-6:27 How pretty the yellow walls along a staircase! How unique for Munich!
Harriet and I (JIm) have been to Munich many times. Its one of our favorites cities to visit in Germany. You never can see all of it. You keep finding new attractions and old attractions all the time.

Hi Audrey and Sam. Thanks for sharing your experiences in Munich. Although it is not one of my favourite cities in Germany, I have to admit that it looked much more beautiful than I remembered. 💖💖
Munich looks a great city to spend a few days in. Plenty to do and some wonderful open spaces too.
Hi
I was there nearly 2 years ago and loved so much.
As always really nice upload
Another awesome video by you guys!! Been to Munich half a dozen times and have taken the elevator up to the viewing level at the Neues Rathaus maybe 3 or 4 times. I've always found it with just 1 or 2 people up there so it's a great way to see the old city. Loving this series. Prost!
Hi Guys,
Great coverage on this in which I love to see delicious foods and old fashioned buildings.
The most detailed travel guide I've ever seen about Munich

AMAZING video 👍😁What a beautiful city 🤗👏Thanks for sharing guys ✌
Thanks for watching!
Great video! Will be in Munich next summer and this gave me a few extra places to visit.
Great piece of information
Thank you for sharing your great video! The last time I was in Munich was in 1984 with my late husband. In April 2023, my friend & I will travel independently to Germany for 43 days using public transportation. With the various attraction sights & day trips on our checklist, it doesn't look like 9 nights in Munich is enough.
Munich ❤️ Airport is so beautiful
Thanks! The airport is great.
A very great vidéo here ! Full of quality informations very useful ! Thanks you !
das sind echt sauzoper Tipps! Ich freue mich riesig dieses Video gefunden zu haben
Lovely scenery! Thank you
Thanks for watching and happy holidays!!
wow awesome
We had the ufo house near my place in Hyogo prefecture in Japan for 50 years ago, it was a coffee shop. I am not sure that was the same one, but very similar. I had been there after the school sometimes. By the way, I am sooo glad that you guys started to travel again!
Thanks Mayumi! That is fascinating to hear.
amazing content...I love it!!
The music and the views, were awsome!! Perfect edition you guys!! Congrats
Munich is very beautiful. I could enjoy all these places. I have good memories from it. It is my next home 🏠😍 Thanks for the video. I loved it.
Enjoy watching your VDO. Very informative and artistic
I was stationed 1 hour away in the US Army. I went to the Olympic Stadium many times to see indoor and outdoor rock concerts. The design of the park is spectacular. There was a tower you could go to the top and get a great view of Munich and across the way was the BMW factory and museum. I left in 1991. Can't remember anything else besides the Deutche Museum. Used to go to the WOM (World of Music) near the Marienplatz to buy records then cds. German version of Tower Records. Went to the Octoberfest once. Alot easier to go to the local fest where I lived. Went and saw all the stuff King Ludvig the II built around Bavaria. Linderhof, Newschawnstein, Herren Chemise. Garmisch, Berchestgarten, Zugspitze, Eagles Nest. So much to see in Bavaria!! I had a castle book. I went to castles all over Germany. Glad I was there 7 years!! Now I would love to go back and see my favorite ⚽️ fotbol team Bayern Munich in there home stadium!! Top team in the Bundesliga!! The beer is fantastic! Went back one last time in 2001 as a civilian.

Very well done. You've had great weather for exploring the city.
I missed Olympiapark and recommend it to anyone who visits Munich for more than 1-2 days.
Anyone who loves cars should check out the BMW world & museum (right next to the Olympic Park)
AWESOME VLOG GUYS !

Awesome! I hope you guys get to visit soon.
Hermoso lugar !!
Muy bueno este video 👏🏼👏🏼
Muchas gracias, Sebastian! Saludos y felices fiestas!
Enjoyed
Great video - thanks a lot - I really enjoyed it. I grew up in Munich, so I live here since 1968. One more place I would highly recommend to visit is the Olympic Park - that's where the Olympic Games in 1972 took place. It is all still there, the sports arenas, the park, even the Olympic Village where the terrorist attack took place back then during the games. In the Olympic Park you also find the Fernsehturm (TV Tower) - you can use the high speed elevator and enjoy the highest viewing point of Munich. You can reach the Olympic Park very comfortable with the Underground line U-3. The station is called Olympiapark (what else!).
Thanks so much for sharing about Olympic Park. We'll make it a must visit attraction the next time we visit Munich.
Excelente
The city, the video and the people are beautiful 😍
Agreed, Munich does look great.
Great thanks
Munich was fun when my family and I went 6 years ago. We also visited the Concentration camp near Munich which was very moving.
Dachau...
The Residenz is so hard to find the entrance. So when I heard that in your video I could relate! We went around the entire thing too and then when we found the entrance we were not sure it was because there was a van parked right in the entryway. 😂
I m going to visit Munich in March. So excited 😊
That is very exciting!
very buitifull that market with the beer square.....that's the place to stay!!!
That would be a great location!
Thank you, enjoy your videos. Especially Germany.
Awesome, thank you!
Looks beautiful
Munich has some great green spaces which we like. English garden in particular.
Hola Samuel y Audrey ! Que manera fantástica de mostrar una hermosa ciudad como Munich !! Disfrute mucho del video ! Un saludo desde Buenos Aires !!
Gracias Adrian! Nos alegra que hayas disfrutado el video. Saludos!
hof proy house, that‘s a good one!
I must admit, I'm kind of a "hick" and while traveling I have a hard time navigating public transit. I'd like to see instructive video on great cities' public transit systems. I'll be in Madrid (hopefully) in February and may utilize their Metro. Your insight has always been helpful in the past. Thanks Sam & Audrey!🤠
Very good and fun VLOG. Give me a lot of goog idea for my trip next two months.

That's great to hear, Mel! Wishing you guys a wonderful visit next year.
I love all your video .. you are best UA-camr ❤️❤️
thanks
Definitely wouldn't be a video without Sam having a beer lol thanks for the video. Very informative and the buildings had such detail to them. Kinda wish it was like that now with more character
Glad you enjoyed the video, Justin! I also wish architecture were just a bit more ornate and not just about function, but it's nice having these older buildings to enjoy.
@@samuelandaudrey I totally agree. I'm just thinking that it would be nice in 300 years have something left behind that people are in awe over instead of basic blocks
